It is with the profoundest grief that I inform Free Republic that one of the most inspirational and influential FReepers has passed away. Alia was my wife for 28 years and through thick and thin, she was my bulwark. She was also a devoted member here and I believe an important contributor. She passed from this vale of tears this past night at 1 am. Please find a moment in your day today to remember her in prayer.
+Jesus+ said, Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself: that where I am, there ye may be also.
Please except my condolences and prayers for your wife as well as you and your family. I too lost the love of my life and it is difficult to say the least.
My prayers are also for you, BelegStrongbow. May God comfort you in this time of loss. Your wife was a wonderful woman.

Oh Dear FReeper FRiend - I am so very sorry to hear of the death of Alia. I have exchanged posts with both of you over the years & never knew you were a married couple or even related!
Her writing skills always intrigued me. She had a real way with words & I had the feeling she was either an author or involved in some way with theater or movies.
I will pray for your family. This obviously came on suddenly w/o warning . I dont recall ever hearing her mentioned illness or health problems.
None of us ever know when our last week, day or breath will be.
Take care & please lean on your creator & your friends and family at this time. I know that is harder for men often but will help you get through the difficult days ahead as you heal & grieve.
God has Himself a new Angel.
