Poland pulls out of UN Race Conference

20.04.2009

Poland will not take part in the ‘Durban II’ United Nations review conference on racism, racial discrimination and xenophobia which has opened in Geneva today.

A statement by the Polish Foreign Ministry stresses that Poland participated in the preparations for the conference till the last minute, hoping that it would allow to consolidate and strengthen international efforts in the fight against racism in all its forms. There is much to indicate, however – the statement says – that the Geneva conference will become a forum for inadmissible speeches and activities incompatible with the spirit of respect for other races and religions.

According to Poland’s former PM and MEP Jerzy Buzek, the decision is justified. “These are very delicate issues. We have to send signals that these kinds of actions on the international arena have to be objective. If they are not and if we have fears that the actions of the international community fighting for human rights are not objective - then our protest can be justified. If the Foreign Ministry has made such a decision I believe it is a decision which has been deeply motivated” he said.

Poland is one several EU member states which have decided to boycott the UN Conference. The United States, Canada, Israel also announced they would not turn up.

No surprise, based on Poland’s recent stands. Good for them.

Startled me there for a minute.

I can't imagine the Atlanta Journal-Constitution doing any such thing. The editors over there being supporters of Cynthia McKinney and her egregious father Billy -- notorious anti-semites.

Of course, they didn't.

Yes, I know that.

Wondering, when they’re going to show this movie here in Poland.

I noticed they filmed it in Latvia, and not Poland, which was a bit disappointing. Maybe the Latvians were cheaper, I guess.

....this conference is really just an excuse for 3rd world peoples to bash the white race....then try to shake them down for money....if you are white, you need to understand one thing....you are only 15% of the world population....and that number is falling.

So who does that leave to fight “racism”, “xenophobia” etc???

The Sudanese?? Perhaps the Saudis?

When will the productive nations of the world wake up and realize that his stuiff is just garbage?

C-SPAN this morning was replaying an event from 1/28/2009 featuring George Friedman, author of The Next Hundred Years, which was very interesting. He mentioned Poland as a country which he expects to be very important in the future, partly because of their location on the border between Russia and the West, partly because they have a large and hard-working population.

He also talked up the future importance of Turkey and Japan, but played down that of China.

Also, they will be the last bastion of Western Civilization as we know it in Europe, once Western Europe falls to Islamofascism. Perhaps they have another Jan Sobieski in them.

Canada was the first to join Israel in the boycott. Naturally, leftists criticized Conservative PM Harper for this — until their American Messiah joined in the boycott.

Well, my guess is the leftists in America will not be happy about the Obamamessiah.

He is probably afraid of his popularity sinking too low with Jewish American voters.

But his position on this one subject hardly compensates for his proven track record as an Islamic lackey with respect to Israel - and other things.

You have a very beautiful city.
