Uhhh I dont get it. Blue represents gains right?
Lol. Dem’s fault? Funny stuff.
Gee, most of the job losses have been in Blue States. Hope they like the change.
Very interesting. Thanks for posting.
Holy cow! Look at Presidential election time and beyond. The map practically explodes! That’s some kinda change, I tell ya!
It claims 326 jobs GAINED in Brown County Ohio.
Sorry, thats complete and utter nonsense, I live here, I’m an employer here, and this is either a mistake, or a flat out LIE.
November 08, December 08, and January 09..... Lotsa loses after 0 was crowned.
BIG surpise there. </sarc>

WOW. Golly.... Looks like Democrats in Congress (they have had control since 2006) Got their wishes. LOTS of people with out jobs dependent on Government checks for their lively hoods. Looks like its gotten even worse since Obama took office. Here’s a thought, CUT TAXES on small businesses if you want to stimulate the economy. Give them more money to hire with and they WILL. The small American business owner LIKES hiring people, they can get more work done and make everyone including the government more money.
Go Texas!
There’s another interesting area. Although it’s surrounded by devastation, the Washington DC metropolitan area is awash with new jobs! They must have a lot of busy people there (maybe the good schools are attracting talent).
You know what the country needs? Higher taxes, higher spending, higher deficits, and more government. ;’)
That began back in January 2008 when it became fairly obvious to anyone who was paying attention that the Democratic party primaries and caucuses were being rigged in order to make Obama the party nominee. Observe on that map how Los Angeles went from weak blue to hemorrhaging red starting in January 2008. The same effect can be observed in looking at the rust belt states and the northeast-they started bleeding jobs at the same time.
Most businesses and the people who run them are not stupid. They saw the handwriting on the wall and either got out of business altogether or began moving their businesses to states where the state laws might let them weather the bludgeoning they were going to take under a Marxist president with a radical leftist run legislative branch on the federal level.

My county’s jobs disappeared in the Depression. Seriously. On our edge of Appalachia, the easiest timber and coal were gone by then. Population was 12,000 in 1900 and is half that now. My great uncle, a WWII vet, was a census taker in 1990, and turned in so many forms with “Dwelling unoccupied” (summer cabin, hunting shanty, etc.) that the Feds at regional Census HQ made ‘em switch areas and re-count. Local Masten was a company town owned by two different companies in succession; the mill was in operation from 1905 to September 18, 1930, when the last log was cut. After the mill closed, most of the houses were torn down and the railroad was abandoned. In 1933, a Civilian Conservation Camp was established at the site of Masten, and the CCC camp closed in 1940. Deny, delay, and decay since then.
