While half the nation has a favorable opinion of last Wednesdays events, the nations Political Class has a much dimmer viewjust 13% of the political elite offered even a somewhat favorable assessment while 81% said the opposite. Among the Political Class, not a single survey respondent said they had a Very Favorable opinion of the events while 60% shared a Very Unfavorable assessment.
One-in-four adults (25%) say they personally know someone who attended a tea party protest. That figure includes just one percent (1%) of those in the Political Class.

Good question. I went to the Rasmussen link that said, "The Political Class and Mainstream classifications are determined by the answers to three questions measuring general attitudes about government."
But, it did not list the three questions.
When I’m being sarcastic, I end my posts with /sarc.
I KNOW these ‘political elite’ people actually believe in their bones they are better than 99% of the American people. They look on us like children, actually, like step-children who just need to shut up and let them ‘take care’ of us!!
I DON’T THINK SO.
Amazing that Rasmussen actually gives this ‘group’ credence, as if they are a real entity endorsed by Americans...it’s like HolyO giving the HuffPo ‘journalist’ credence by asking him a question during a publicized tv presser!! Like HolyO said about Sarah Palin “You can put lipstick on a pig...” when in reality it is what HE and HIS
ADMINISTRATION is all about!
We need to keep the pressure on and keep them feeling that way.
Make 'em squirm and screw up politically!
I think the ‘political class’ is made up of elected officials and media elite.
They think they are better than the rest of us and know better how to run our lives. And we are supposed to shut-up and take it.
I like your fire -
are you aware of the UN Rights of the Child treaty and its effects on [the destruction of] the American family?
It’s another example of the elites thinking they know better how YOU and I should raise our children.

This is a spinoff group of the HSLDA, a legit group that has done a lot for American families.
That’s a huge impact in a short time. Wow. I attended two tea parties, and I’ve told only a few people outside my immediate family - maybe 6 or 8 plus my 3 guys at home. Of course, I’ve been e-mailing articles and cartoons throughout the election and afterward as well.
That's what we are doing. /s
Any one know where I can get some plinker feed?
The local store is out. I don't get it, it's hard to find though. ; )
The questions used to calculate the Index are:
Fifteen percent (15%) are not sure.
These are the people who do not watch Fox News or any news at all. They do not read the paper or read news on the internet. They probably could not name the Vice President of the United States either.
However, they know who was eliminated last week from American Idol and Dancing with the Stars.
Hussein is not going to be happy about this!
His mouth pieces are already saying that this is dangerous.

Seems we all need clarification on who/what is the “political class.” When did this become a term? Do we now have the rich class, middle class, poor class AND political class? Is this another group who will gripe about not getting what they want from the government? Or, are politicians the “political class,” and no longer members of the others? I find this very confusing.
of course, it’s the group of people who are much less likely to actually have children who feel they are more suitable to dictate how children should be raised.
I think it used to be called “society”.
That’s because the other 49% are not having their money stolen. They aren’t paying in any money. They are pres__ent 0’s majority-in-the-making — net takers of government services, funded by a shrinking minority.
But what is it that taints whomever we send up there so that they just blend in and become part of the machine?
GROIN = Get Rid Of Incumbents Now!!!
I don’t know. Must be the power and fringes.
What form did he think this showdown would take? I would be interested to hear more details of what he said.
