A US Marine was arrested today at Logan International Airport after federal airport screeners discovered a gun, bomb-making materials, and ammunition in his checked baggage, State Police and Transportation Security Administration officials said.

He might be in a lot of trouble with the military, too, depending on where those came from. Marines and soldiers are not allowed to leave ranges with those "military pull-type fuses" (igniters, apparently) or detonators of any kind. But once in a while, out of millions, one ate-up troopie will try it.

On a flight to Arizona, they took my mascara beacuse it was in a METAL TUBE..

They took my make-up too, I told them to wear it in good health.
While they were farting around doing this, I missed my flight, and the airline charged me 50 bucks to catch another plane that was leaving 15 minutes later.

TSA is playing CYA by charging this Marine with 'posession of a concealed weapon.'

He had a couple of checked bags and one of them accidentally ended up in the luggage carousel.

Because that mistake was made, the bag had to be screened before it was put back on the plane.

This has to be a set-up. Luggage does not get to a carousel in quick time these days. Luggage that does get to a carousel will just go round and round for a looooong time before anyone notices that it was misplaced. Unless this Marine had a long layover in Boston, there was no way that his luggage could have been put “back on the plane.”
