SEAL team deployment stalled 36 hours, hampered by limited rules of engagement.
WASHINGTON While Barack Obama is basking in praise for his "decisive" handling of the Somali pirate attack on a merchant ship in the India Ocean, reliable military sources close to the scene are painting a much different picture of the incident accusing the president of employing restrictive rules of engagement that actually hampered the rescue of Capt. Richard Phillips and extended the drama at sea for days.

It’s either that or Waco/Ruby Ridge...
Some choice, eh?

The SEAL team deployment was an unqualified success. This type of armchair quarterbacking is uncalled for and ridiculous. The end result of whatever actions Obama took (or didnt’ take) was the death of three of the four pirates and the safe recovery of the captain. I, for one, mark this as a win in Obama’s column and have moved on. A crank like Joseph Farah is likely to do the opposite.

I completely believe this is plausible. However, I won't be sharing it with anyone until:
- We see it appear somewhere other than WorldNutDaily, and
- There is something more substantial than un-named sources.

Can’t say I’m convinced yet... but, as I predicted previously, the truth: if different: will eventually come out.
I’ll fully believe it when I hear Katie Couric say it! /s

Sorry to find your sense of serenity upset, but you do realize that this event revealed that Obama is one of those "that's not it" type managers.

Folks, I said all of this on day 1. They Navy’s language was directed at hitting the wicket of a very restrictive ROE.

about the only thing he did.

It's pretty clear what happened.
Plus
The Captain did not thank Obama.
He thanked everyone else.
Several on this thread are praising Obama for his handling of this.
I'd rather be in a foxhole with “crank” Farah than Obama.

The Lord will resurrect us . . .
However, it does seem like OThuga is practicing as many varieties of stabbing the National Heart as he can find.
