I had good luck with JantyUSA.com with my purchases. I purchased a Dura-C and the KissBox Extended which came with a pass through. The pass through replaces the battery portion of the e-cig and has a usb plug that can be plugged into your computer OR a Kensington power pack (K38021US)that I purchased at Amazon. Now I can vape for 2 days before I have to do a recharge which takes about 1 hour. The power pack is the way to go IMO. I purchase the juice from JohnsonCreek.com. It is a USA company and sells both VG and PG type juice.

My dog is going through withdrawal though. He follows me outside to catch a whif.

Wow. First time I've ever heard of that. Your dog will probably just have to go cold turkey.

Funny. I grew up in a house where my mom smoked almost constantly, and with pretty poor ventilation. I didn't get hooked on tobacco from being immersed in her second-hand smoke, though. Out of seven kids, only three of us ever wound up with a serious habit, and two of us started smoking after leaving home.

Thanks for all the useful data, Melissa. It helps a lot.

I hope that I can avail myself of this great solution before Ozero’s FDA bans it in this country. It’s just so typical of mindless liberals to support those things that are destructive, and to fight against every pro-survival thing.

I’m glad you posted this, as I’d never heard of e-cigarettes before. Now after doing a little googling and blog-reading, I’ve ordered one to try. Thanks!

“Sounds like the smokeless cigarette that RJR spent millions developing and never brought top market.”

That was called Premier, and they test marketed it in their hometown of Winston-Salem. I wasn’t electronic and relied on a piece of burning charcoal to heat the tobacco which had to be re-lit at least 2-3 times to finish the smoke. I bought one pack and tossed it after 2 or 3 frustrating smokes.

Drugs kill and are a huge cost to society as it is, and you want to see them kill even more, and increase the cost "recreational drug use" has on society? brilliant.

You sound exactly like the do-gooders wanting to ban tobacco. Can't say I've ever seen a friend's kid laying on a slab in the morgue but I've been to a whole bunch of funerals and wakes of people dead from lung cancer and other smoking-related illnesses.

I laid the bait and you took it hook, line and sinker!

Windflier,

I smoked for 25 years, about 25 per day, and loved it.

Tried cold turkey about five times, but only lasted 2 weeks to 2 months.

On my 40th birthday I changed tactics.

I stopped smoking in my house and in my car, and I cut back to 15 a day.

I cut back each birthday after that, and went to zero on my 45th birthday.

Going from 25 a day to 5 a day was not hard.

Going from 5 to zero was tough.

I've been smoke free for 14 years.

After the first year, thank goodness, the desire to smoke completely disappeared.

It's a hell of an addiction, isn't it? It's amazing to me that it took a whole year for your craving to completely disappear. Nicotine is one powerful drug.

One of the most attractive attributes of the e-cigarette method is that long-term smokers are reporting a complete cessation of addiction in only a couple of weeks. And that is without having to go through the horrible withdrawal symptoms.

Amazing. I'm ready to do this. Even after 40 years of smoking, I still enjoy it, but I realize that I'm pushing my luck with my health at this point.

You're much nicer than me. I've had that happen a few times where 290 pound women would walk past me while I was reading my Crackberry and smoking a cigarette outside my office building waived their sausage like fingers in front of their face.

A few years ago I was standing outside my office smoking a cigarette. Two women were walking towards me as I puffed away. As they approached, one of them (smoking nazi) said “ Do you know how many chemicals are in that ? “

My answer to that is....not enough chemicals or alcohol to get any man to put up with you.

My response to the fat woman waiving her sausages in my direction to blow away the smoke was....

Me: What's the problem Madam?

Lard Ass: That smoke is annoying. (fanning her face with her hand)

Me: So is looking at your fat ass in that size 12 dress but you don't see me covering my eyes. I have manners.
