WASHINGTON (CNN) Meghan McCain warned a group of gay Republicans Saturday that there was "a war brewing in the Republican Party" a war between the past and the future.
"Most of the old school Republicans are scared s***less of that future," she told a gathering of the Log Cabin Republicans, a group of gay and lesbian party members.
The 24-year-old daughter of former GOP presidential candidate John McCain pushed back against critics upset over her comments to CNN that she wanted President Obama to succeed, and played down her recent headline-grabbing feuds with conservative commentators Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham. "I did not expect my frustration with what I perceive to be overly partisan and divisive Republicans to cause a national incident," she said.
"I feel too many Republicans want to cling to past successes
I think we're seeing a war brewing in the Republican Party," she said. "But it is not between us and Democrats. It is not between us and liberals. It is between the future and the past

Good point...
ROFLOL!!! That’s just SO precious! The SNARL from both of ‘em, eh?
Meghan McCain warned a group of gay Republicans fellow perverts...
This is driving me (even more) nuts...Let's see, LOTE vote...
Language Other Than English? Well, the GOP/RNC often courts the Hispanic vote...Living On The Edge? No...MeggieMac just said we're obsolete, ergo, NOT edgy...Location on the Earth? Um...no.
Ah-ha! Lesser Of Two Evils!!!! I'm stickin' with that one.
There is some truth to that statement of yours. McCain is a double agent for the other side and there are Democrat moles permeating the RNC.
Say what you like about GWB (and he deserves a lot of criticism), he told the "log cabin" perverts to go pound sand...
The Battle of Philippi was between the forces of Octavian and Mark Antony on one side and the forces of Caesar's assassins, led by Brutus on the other side.
Meghan McCain = Tokyo Rose
There, fixed it.
PS: Hint: baby RINO's never stray far from the teat.
The lessor of two evils is still evil... you and many others have to get past this two party candidate system, look where it has lead, two parties that look damn near identical in policies and actions, and both parties have have almost completely destroted our country.
Stop voting for the lessor of two evils and vote for the person you think is right for the position... Principles, Values and Morals are what will save our country not a political party.
C.S. Lewis used to call this attitude chronilogical snobbery. It's a common fallacy of the Left.
Principles are eternal, Meghan. Fashions come and go.
LOL!!! How's that working out for ya' McCain't?

Believe me, your comment: "Stop voting for the lessor of two evils and vote for the person you think is right for the position... Principles, Values and Morals are what will save our country not a political party" was well taken.
I certainly did my best, but unfortunately, I have only one vote. I voted for Rep. RON PAUL in the GOP Primary 'cuz he is a defender of the Constitution, & he has a track record a mile long that proves he truly is for less government & more freedom. You can't say that about any of the other GOP'ers who ran in '08.
I then voted for Pastor CHUCK BALDWIN of the Constitution Party in the general election 'cuz I knew good & well that Juan McCain has proven time & time again that he despises small government & freedom. He is a globalist CFR member who caters to the illegal alien crowd, & everyone w/ even a slight knowledge of political history who voted for him knew this!
A vote for Juan McCain was a vote against the sovereignty of the US, a vote against free speech, a vote against protecting our borders while @ the same time sending our military all over the globe to fight in areas that have little to do w/ protecting us here @ home. It was a vote for an angry, vulgar man whose temper was well known & who despised conservatives & those who respected family values & putting America first. It was a vote for continuing the influx of illegal immigration into the US.
Sorry for the broad paint brush...
Long ago those she unwittingly serves devised a more precise and useful classification system: There are 1. Party members (the insiders, planners and "brains"), 2. fellow travelers, and 3. useful idiots.
I think we all know which category Meghan McCain falls into...
It was worth the extra effort. It shows the disdain both hold for conservatives.
Meghan. You are becoming annoying now. Please just go away.
So how is President Obama working out for you?
Why does anyone listen to this liberal b***h? Who is she to decide whats going to happen?
Absolutely agree, I've voted for many third party candidates due to the entrenched corruption in the GOP/DNC two party system. I voted for Bush the first time looking to that next "Reagan" and to keep Gore from getting elected, then I amplified that mistake by voting for Bush a second time to keep Kerry from getting elected... after the 2004 election I swore I would never "give" someone a vote again, they will earn it from now on... with their record!
GOP had better wake up, as they are now in the process of being replaced. Conservatives just haven't found the right "vessel" yet... But we will.
