The Federal Bureau of Investigation earlier this year launched a nationwide operation targeting white supremacists and "militia/sovereign-citizen extremist groups," including a focus on veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan, according to memos sent from bureau headquarters to field offices.
The initiative, dubbed Operation Vigilant Eagle, was outlined in February, two months before a memo giving a similar warning was issued on April 7 by the Department of Homeland Security.
Disclosure of the DHS memo this week has sparked controversy among some conservatives and veterans groups. Appearing on television talk shows Thursday, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano defended the assessment, but apologized to veterans who saw it as an accusation.

They should not wish too hard, they may get what they are looking for. The more they piss people off like this, the more they will find people will act on a not simply perceived threat but an actual threat.

As I understand the procedures, the FBI does such investigations only by order from the DOJ or WH, not Homeland Security.

1. They need us as their slaves so we can produce for their failed state solutions.
2. The producers are the most capable adversaries.
3. We were able to evade getting a criminal record, generally were able to keep ourselves straight, held job(s), raised children, and otherwise be mostly responsible. These are the most dangerous people on earth when they decide to go Irish.
4. Yes, the DHS was right on when it mentioned lone wolves. Oh for a hundred thousand of them.

Oh, and it will be several generations running past even a single term of O. The left is firmly implanted in ALL administrations and bureaus of our government. The presidency of bHo will ensure it grows stronger every month.
Acorn will now take part in our census, the global warming kooks will set the tone of our science and energy policy, and 2 or more SCOTUS justices will be retiring under O’s term... even if it is a single term. Doctors must choose between not getting paid if they don't do abortions or working at a hospital that takes federal money (ALL OF THEM). We are headed to government run health care. And those are but a start to what you did.
It is WORSE than many of us feared, and that many more who hold out hope that we can “live” with a single term. It will take more than a miracle and any single personality like even a Reagan could give us. The election was a country changer.. it has done so already in just 4 months!!!
