Paranoid, rage-driven, xenophobic nuts are taking over the Republican Party.
Liberals haven't had so much fun in decades.
Aside from the dwindling size of our 401(k)s, life is treating us well. True, we're heading into a major recession. But that's OK: That just presents us with new opportunities to Do Good. And while we wait for President Obama to bring us New Deal 2.0, we'll also get a few giggles out of watching the Bush administration preside over the nationalization of the nation's financial sector. (Tip: Practice saying "social democracy." Also, practice saying "Told ya so!" with compassion.)
Maybe most fun of all, we're getting to watch a steady procession of rats leaving the sinking GOP ship.

The writer is unique, though - an honest liberal.
But enough about the democrats...
Watching O’Reilly and Glenn Beck talking the other night, they seem to agree. The msm had so much anger towards the people and the tea parties, yep they just might be getting nervous. The newspapers are going down. Nobody is really watching any cable news except for Fox,yep maybe just maybe they might be getting angry because they are losing their,we know better than the American people mindset! New slogan,MSM-WE KNOW BETTER THAN THE AMERICAN PEOPLE-WINK- WINK-JUST FOLLOW US AND DO WHAT WE SAY.
WITH WHAT, pray tell? OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY?!!!
“Liberal bureaucrats will soon be taking over the Times. With little if any noticeable change in the quality of the reporting.”

It started with John McCain's choice of Sarah Palin as his running mate. Thinking conservatives -- as of a couple of months ago, there were still a few left -- were distinctly underwhelmed. In the New York Times, David Brooks chastised McCain for "throw[ing] away standards of experience and prudence" by picking Palin. In the Washington Post, Charles Krauthammer said Palin was "not ready" for prime time. David Frum, a former Bush speechwriter and fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, complained that Palin had "thoroughly -- and probably irretrievably -- proven that she is not up to the job." In the National Review, conservative columnist Kathleen Parker said Palin was "clearly out of her league" and urged her to "bow out."
In just a few short months, President Barack has proven HIMSELF to be out of his league. I'm still awaiting him to acknowledge the role of Commander in Chief is above his paygrade and for him to announcing he is stepping down.
How utterly stupid can people be, that fail to see this?
Not all fiscal conservatives are in the Republican Party , let’s pray to God (hoping God still exist in the Democrat Party) that within the Democratic Party there are some fiscal conservatives that want to reduce taxes.
Libel and slander are criminal. Cowards like John McCain didn’t pursue harsh enough legal action against the propagandists like the woman who used photos she shot of him (outside of the contracted press photo) to smear him and portray him as a blood crazed vampire.
The notion of promoting diversity and multiculturalism is dishonest. They do not seek to expose immigrants and agnostics to the faith, politics, economics, morals, heritage, and philosphies of Christians or Europeans. It is about burying the “dead” culture and raising up a new order.
An argument can be made that self-loathing, America-hating, ignorant, naive nuts have long ago taken over the Democrat Party.
GUILTY!
Another ugly probable lesbo mediot who hates half of America and wants us to support her and other lunatic mediots.

Obama Appointee Suggests Radical Plan for Newspaper Bailout

Influential Los Angeles Times columnist Rosa Brooks has hung up her journalistic hat and joined the Obama administration, but not before penning a public proposal calling for some radical ideas to help bail out the failing news industry.
Brooks, who has taken up a post as an adviser at the Pentagon, advocated upping “direct government support for public media” and creating licenses to govern news operations.
“Years of foolish policies have left us with a choice: We can bail out journalism, using tax dollars and granting licenses in ways that encourage robust and independent reporting and commentary, or we can watch, wringing our hands, as more and more top journalists are laid off,” she wrote in her parting column on April 9.
Brooks said this would help rescue the industry from a “death spiral” and left the government unaccountable to the journalists who must keep it honest. “[I] can’t imagine anything more dangerous than a society in which the news industry has more or less collapsed,” she wrote.
“Do not be surprised by the cynical use of the Department of Homeland Security for a political information war campaign. It is the modus operandi of the Left and has been used effectively for decades. ... In the information battle we live through, every media story and every government report is suspect. Experts, universities, think tanks, non-profits and interest groups are all tools for the spin masters and propagandists whose ethics are defined by ‘the ends justifies the means’ of Saul Alinsky’s model. The DHS Rightwing Extremism paper is merely a recent example of how the American people and their law enforcement agencies are manipulated. When those who excel at information manipulation and media control also sit in government the price of truth becomes eternal skepticism. And we ain’t seen nothin’ yet.” —columnist Lance Fairchok
Times v. Sullivan protect the media from slander against public figures. McCain is a public figure so he's fair game.
Yes, they caucus annually in a phone booth in New York!!!
The photo was clearly defamation of character. The photographer sought a release for the photos she was contracted to shoot of Senator McCain for use with Newsweak. She also kept additional uncontracted photos that she manipulated (this is why Newsweak did not own those original images).
It was violation of her contract with Mr. McCain.
And you can shoot anyone’s photo out on the street without a release. But if you photograph a priest to make it appear he is soliciting a prostitute or other way defame his character, you are not free from lawsuit.
Even Enquirer, et al get sued.
