As a Texan, I can say the results are probably accurate. Texans do not want to secede from the Union. They love the United States of America. However, the nature of Texans is to do what must be done. If the situation in the country continues to deteriorate and the constitution continually subverted, then...secede we will if secede we must.

That's pretty much how I see it, too. People here love this country with an uncommon fervor, but will "do what must be done", if it comes to it.
