GRESHAM BARRETT, JIM DeMINT--please read this--Greenville SC tea party tomorrow--ACORN alert

Please be aware that there are murmurs afoot that Greenville's Bi Lo Center tea party protest rally is rife for mischief.

TOPICS: Activism/Chapters; US: South Carolina
KEYWORDS: agentsprovocateurs; teaparty
South Carolina is a state that the left holds in particular contempt, and is always having to overcome the stigma of racism. The Bi-Lo Center would be a showpiece for the agents provocateurs in ACORN and like-minded "rent a mobs" of the left. There are few other tea parties on Friday, the attention of a whole nation could be focused on these "racists" who dare oppose Nancy Pelosi.

ACORN has applied to stage a counter-protest in the same area. This will make for some inflammatory pictures. Most of the tea-partiers will probably be white. ACORN will be sure that there will be a great contrast and it will look bad. Hire a few white guys to scream a few racist remarks and the Tea Party movement will face a major discredit, nationally.

There's no way to stop the "plants" that will appear in the audience, BUT IF YOU WARN ABOUT THEM IN ADVANCE, YOU WILL GO FAR TO NULLIFY THE EFFECT THEY HAVE. Also, having some signs ready that say "Infiltrator, Acorn Plant" or something like that would also be helpful.

"There's no way to stop the "plants" that will appear in the audience"

Bring some cotton flour sacks soaked in rancid oil. Knock the crud to the ground and tie the sack over their head with a firmly knoted bowline.

The TEA parties are a solid start. But we, the people, have to follow up by having “Push Back Until” events later this year, early next year, and for as long as we have to: http://pushbackuntil.com.

It will not be easy, but how interested are we in saving our country from an irresponsible Congress? If we, the people, do nothing, our country is finished.

“Be in D.C. to Push Back Until!”

Actually, the best thing to do is ignore them. We had an ACORN disrupter walk through our crowd of 1,000 in Plymouth Michigan yesterday wearing an Obama t-shirt and holding an Obama lawn sign. I kept my eye on him and no one said a word, no one acknowledged him, he never got a rise out of anyone. Well, there were a few snickers as he walked by some groups of people. He eventually left. He probably felt like the jerk he was.

That is a response they hope for. The best response is a sign that says, “ACORN plant paid for with bailout money” right next to the disruptor, as the driveby’s camera makes a beeline for the provocateur.

That's an easy one. What do you do when someone (hired by ACORN) starts yelling racist epithets at the ACORN crowd? I'm hoping the organizers are prepared for this eventuality.

Thanks for the heads up. Wife and I are going and plan to ignore any ACORN nuts that may be there. Will take pics to post after the party.

My family will be there and I got prepared earlier this week with an infiltrator sign (yes, I stole the idea from another thread). We were at the last Greenville tea party and were surprised by the turnout... hopefully the citizens of the Upstate will surprise us again!

You are absolutely right, they are not playing with a full deck anyway, and to argue with a nutjob is just silly and embarrassing. One of the two tea parties I went to yesterday, had a strange woman at it, she seem upset when the national anthem was upset and begin to express outrage at the waving of the French Flag.. now.. she might of just be an ordinary nutjob and not a plant by Acorn or other disruptive powers, but it is hard to tell. I think they hire homeless people to disrupt and they are not to bright to begin with, and they do not cost much...just a cheap bottle of wine.

re: Notice to Acorn be very careful in Greenville SC)))

Perfect Alinsky storm. Note the ingredients...

Greenville, SC is Jesse Jackson's home town.

South Carolina gets the biggest diss for a sad Civil Rights history...thanks in part to Fritz Hollings...democrat.

Many tea partiers happen to be white.

Many ACORNS happen to be black.

The left is ENRAGED at the success we enjoyed yesterday.

ACORN is well-funded. Heck--they're paid with our money!!

The left has had some breathing room to organize to try to embarrass the "Joe's" and "Sarah's" at the tea parties, maybe shut them up for good.

Cool heads, FRiends! I know their tactics are infuriating and unfair. They're also effective.

My advice would be: Don't take the bait. Let the cops handle it, then cheer as they're taken off in hand cuffs. These tea parties are swarming with cops. The important thing is to ignore them as much a possible to make them feel irrelevant and stupid. I know if I was a disruptor at an ACORN rally and no one paid attention to me, I'd feel pretty foolish. Something like this happened at a tea party I went to earlier in the day, the cops handcuffed her and took her off. The crowd cheered at that point.

Greenville’s first tea party really sort of started the whole tea party event off...IMHO. They had the first event and a lot of people showed up...more then the skeptics believed would be interested in a conservative radio promoted tea party. So.....I think others saw that people were going to go and be part of this effort and it started the ball rolling!
The group sponsoring this one tonight expect between 5000 - 10000!!!!

Why? to help identify Gresham Barrett?

Eff him.

Or have some signs that says “ACORN got 6 billion of our money. Here’s how they spend it.”

Or

When do Tea Parties get their 6 billion from the stimulus?

Or

ACORN, the REAL terrorists!
