"Men, stand up and be counted is what I say, don't be down-trodden, have a bit of self-respect. Men want their equality as well as the women. And women, stay as you are, you are lovely and we do not want you to change, but let us enjoy a little bit of space on our own.
A battle cry if ever I heard one ! Funny article with a serious point.

I look for this guy to be sued by the feminazis in short order. Meanwhile, I and most normal men are perfectly happy to leave our ladies in the beauty salon alone.

let us enjoy a little bit of space on our own. The largest contention point between my wife and I. She doesn't understand the "Man cave", where ever that cave might be, which in some cases could be the barber shop.

As long as it's a hot young hairstylin' babe cuttin' what little's left of my hair.....yeah, I'm good with this.

Hmm. This isn't a barber shop like the one in Gran Torino, I take it. Women would instinctively *know* to stay out of that sort of place.

I have no problem with this, although it might make sense for him to put in a separate entrance and a half wall between the two spaces. Otherwise, enforcing this may become an issue.
Btw, I'm a woman and I don't mind at all that men have their hair cut at the salon I frequent. I also don't mind at all if they prefer a barber.

Any guy that’s forced to drag his better half to the barber shop is better off shaving his head in the backyard - at least for the brotherhood.

I go to a syling salon. The owner is a man. There are male stylists and female. Men and women getting their cuts. He has a coffee bar outside the salon where family or spouses can stay. But this man is very good at what he does. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind a wife’s advice one bit. Although why a woman would want to tag along to watch a man get a haircut is beyond me.

I saw a lady waiting for her husband to have his hair cut today. She sat quietly until the barber was done, then came over to admire his haircut and complement the barber.
Then the man paid and the couple left. A few minutes later they returned, as the wife decided the barber should have a larger tip, and she was very pleased with her husband’s mane.

The shop where I get my haicut is a smoking/conservative/sort of red-neck environment. Women and tree huggers who stop by seldom come back (good thing-LOL).
