Glad you had a great time. We had people of every color there and especially a good representation of young people. And not just kids brought by their parents, but young people with signs. And they were listening to the event speakers too.

I went to the columbus tea party. The crowd was good sized, maybe 4K-5K. the signs were great. Unfortunately other than a pharmacist from Marysville who spoke about concerns of small business, the speakers were absolutelty lame. They completely missed the point. I left when they put the Delaware county recorder on to speak and he spoke about how important his [gov't] job is.
They had another guy plugging the fair tax, but he never mentioned anything about how spending needs to be cut, just how redoing the tax system will fix everything (yeah - right)
The speakers were lame ass politicians who did not grasp the event at all. I walked away thinking that if that is the best our side can put up then we have lost.
If I were a Democrat, I would have been laughing at the lameness of the oposition.

Wow!!! This was the first protest I ever went to and it was great. In spite of the weather, the crowd was great, the speakers were great, all the signs were fabulous.
No evidence of any ACORN disruptors that I saw. Just a huge number of patriots. It was so awesome being in the company of several thousand like-minded individuals.

You Tube from DC rally
THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE.The AP is reporting that there were "about 300" people there. Am I allowed to quote them when they lie?
About 300 people gathered on on The Green in Morristown, N.J. to dispute the cost of the economic stimulus package.
http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/business/Tax-Day-Tea-Party.htmlAnd they have no clue what this was about. We weren't "disputing" anything. Yes, there were a few signs protesting the "stimulus" package like, "Next Time, Read the Bill First," but this was primarialy a protest against Leviathan Government. Hello? AP?
ML/NJ
The AP lies again, here are the pictures to prove there were about 2,000 people at the Morristown, NJ rally.

Thanks for the ping! I also went to a rally in Reston VA. There might have been about 1000 there. Saw Stratman1969 and MosesKnows at that one. Got home around 8:30pm.
Met a couple vacationing from Washington State at the DC rally. They heard about the rally on Fox News. Here's a pic of Ken showing the reverse side of my sign.
That design is by Freeper ColTJCIII. I wish I knew who did the Urkel design so I could give them creds.
Also saw at the rally Jimmy Valentine's Brother, 2ndClassCitizen, his daughter, TeaCup, Cindy-True-Supporter, TennesseeNana, Clinton's a Liar, kburi and RonGKirby
Me and JVB had lunch afterwards.
P.S. This is an awesome thread! Amazing turnouts all over the country that put the DC rally to shame. God bless the Heartland!

This thread is great!!!! These people love their country and they are true patriots. This is only the beginning. Remember, the government works for us, we don't work for them. We need to do these frequently all across America. We surround them. They need to realize it.

Plausible deniability is what this is called. No one can say the DBM didn't cover the area tea party! They did. They just got it all wrong, accidentally on purpose. Nothing new here unfortunately.
But we can tank them, help them along to their eventual bankruptcy by exposing them every time they do this crap. Great post.!!
