Why all the TAX signage, do you know? Aside from the fact that the day happens to be Tax Day...I thought our rallies were about spending, trillions in stimulus. We are being played off as being anti-taxes...even by Fox.

Redding, CA.
The first of three rallies scheduled today was at City Hall at Noon.
My estimate is 200 to 250 people attended.
There were some odd folks taking notes. I have photos but can’t upload directly to FR.
The rally that is expected to be the largest is scheduled at the Sundial Bridge in Redding at 6:00 PM.

Hot off the presses from Palm Desert, California. I'd guess 2000 in attendance - but ZERO in the way of TV news vans. We don't exist to them.

Tucson paper said 2,000 —— and that’s my guess too, though it might have swelled even higher around lunch-time. Awesome turnout and signs.

Just curious - did you ever see the old Twilight Zone episode about Willoughby?
Is that the one where he is on the train?
To: jla; Disco Dave
Richmond Tea Party very enthusiastic - est a min of 5000 and more streaming in - parking a major problem - these events should be held on weekends or away from city proper - enjoyed a Guinness with Disco Dave beforehand

Bostons is tonight, but saw a report here that 2000 or so were there. Some came and went too, like I did Springfield, (couldn't stay) But it should have happened or is about to. Typical of drive by’s they say a couple hundred, HA.

I don’t know what it is about the northwoods turning Socialist (Franken, Wellstone). Maybe the long winter cold freezes people’s desire for liberty? Of course Minnesota also gave us Michelle Bachmann so there are some sensible people still here.

Ft Lauderdale tea party is awesome. It has now spilled from the Fed Court House to the other side of the street and the police brought in even more barricades in case they have to shut down more street lanes for the crowds.
We had a bag piper playing patriotic tunes and dancing minutemen. When I left the crowd had to be at least a couple of thousand people.
