Do condom ads reflect the mind-sets of nations? In the U.S., we get faux-patriotism and soft-core porn, while the French have safe sex on the beach. Now, from Germany, comes a dour dose of angst via Grey in a campaign for Doc Morris Pharmacies. The message: Use a condom, and be sure you're not bringing the next Osama bin Laden, Adolf Hitler or Mao Zedong into the world. Of course, you'd have to sleep with one of those three to risk thatand I imagine most would abstain, especially in the case of Hitler, since he's been dead for almost 65 years. Or maybe the ads are just generally likening sperm to invaders and terrorists. The bad hairdos should be enough to frighten anyone away.

Man. I would NOT be able to comprehend this stuff unless I was a Christian.
It is really getting late.

Both Hitler and Stalin were products more of nurture rather than nature. Both were “mama boys” who were abused by often absent, alcoholic fathers. Both were loners in school (you know, the pimply-faced anti-social type that couldn't even score a date with the wallflower nerd girl). Both had aspirations of being priests in their Roman and Orthodox Catholic churches but, instead, turned to paganistic beliefs in super socialistic systems as panaceas for societal ills and sins. Both tortured animals as children and tried to bully weaker kids (but turned coward when challenged). Both fostered hatred against groups deemed unworthy of their ideal human; for Hitler it was Jews and for Stalin it was independent Kulaks.

“deemed unworthy of their ideal human”
an idea which came directly from the evolution theory, in both cases

Aren't you just as likely, or even more so, prevent the next Einstein, Pasteur or Newton?
Although the idea of stoping the next Margaret Sanger has a certain ironic pleasure to it.

What a very strange message, especially for an advertisement.
