The Jewish sabbath was on Saturday keeping with the tradition of the creation week. Christians moved from Saturday to Sunday celebrating the day of the week when Christ rose from the dead that allowed us to have eternal rest.

Then Saturday is the day of rest for God but not for Christians?

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work...” (Exodus 20:8-10).

Something is not consistent?

Mark 16

9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
