The raid on Waco was a rice bowl moment that went bad.

So, when/where is the next Waco?

How about "a Waco every week?"

The really insidious aspect of this very dangerous development comes from several angles. It is very inflammatory, likely to provoke precisely the behavior it claims to spotlight. The devil himself could not have designed a more potent social explosive.

It also shows how DHS has fallen completely to the Social Workers, and there was good reason to fear this must one day happen back at the creation of this Frankenstein - knowing full well it would inevitable fall into the hands of the Socialist mob.

It demonstrates the Reason-For-Being of DHS has become Self-Continuity, and the Terrorists, in the eyes of this administration are the People, as defined in the Constitution. They clearly fear the People more than Islam.

How does one fight this attempt to redefine the Center in a battle of perceptions? Tea Parties?

If this is just the first, what can we expect before an election policed by these mobsters and ACORN?

I can't help but wonder if we can wait for an election, as methodology such as this will only get stronger and more dangerous, dividing out individuals in a reign of terror and cowing the rest.

Do you imagine there will not be a disproportionate number of IRS audits awaiting those attending Tea Parties on Wednesday? They may even hope that word of such a thing is exposed, as it ignites the kind of direct action they want, and there just isn't any "media" anymore.

This is bad, bad business, friends. It is a clear and present danger to the safety of the Republic.

Does this look like a unclassified homeland security document?

I warned FReepers at the time of the formation of DHS and the PATRIOT Act that they were but excuses to consolidate powers to be turned over to a leftist president at the end of the Bush Administration.

explain this a little more please?

What the government and media are doing is no different than the bully in the schoolyard trying to taunt you into a fight. Like the bully in the schoolyard they will continue to call you names and push you around until you lose your temper. Hopefully the incidents that the government and media are trying to create with their taunting will not materialize. What worrys me though is that the bully may give his self a bloody nose then run and tell the teacher you did it.

All I could think about at the time was “what would happen with that kind of power in the clintonista hands”

now we know.

“I can’t help but wonder if we can wait for an election”...

No...we cannot. The enemy is no longer at the gates, the enemy is in charge.

explain this a little more please?

There was a reason the Founders preferred a militia to a standing army: The concentration of power away from the people is too easily turned against them. That is but one reason why we had limited government in the first place.

The corollary is that concentrated power ALWAYS serves the interests of the politically dominant at the expense of everybody else, antithetical to a system designed to secure unalienable rights.

Just replace “rightwing extremists” with “scientists”, and you’d have a neat plot for a TV miniseries. Oh, wait...

>and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority,

Like, say the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution... or perhaps the 9th?

>or rejecting government authority entirely.

Something like reading our federal and state constitutions, which are written in plain English and insisting that the pertinent governments play by _those_ rules?

>It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.

Or, say, “support and defend the Constitution of the United States,” hm?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oath_of_enlistment

>”Over the past five years, various rightwing extremists, including militias and white supremacists, have adopted the immigration issue as a call to action, rallying point, and recruiting tool.”

How odd, my state defines its militia as “consist[ing] of all able-bodied male citizens between the ages of eighteen and forty-five, except such as are exempt by laws of the United States or of this state.” I don’t se how the recuiting base could reasonably be larger... unless you’re in favor of drafring the women, too.

>DHS/I&A assesses that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat. These skills and knowledge have the potential to boost the capabilities of extremists— including lone wolves or small terrorist cells —to carry out violence. The willingness of a small percentage of military personnel to join extremist groups during the 1990s because they were disgruntled, disillusioned, or suffering from the psychological effects of war is being replicated today.

Oh, now this is just fun! Why shouldn’t veterans want to employ their skills against a regime of tryanny should it arise? Why shouldn’t military veterans be “disgruntled, disillusioned” when their jobs are turned into political fodder and they are defamed by the very politicians doing so? Why should they hold their peace while vast differences in law-applicability/requirements seperate them and their ‘leader’? {The last time I was up for a promotion packet I had to produce all the documentation supporting every awward/medal I recived, every course of military/school training, PT scores... and this guy can’t be bothered to produce his BIRTH CERTIFICATE and PASSPORTS!? WTF!?}

Yeah, and what about that the Congress’s members can fail to pay the very taxes their laws have put in place to little effect?

“This “antigovernment” phraseology is inflammatory in that it gives the impression that following the Constitution is “antigovernment” when in fact it is just the opposite.

It is FOR government as the Constitution defines it.”

Exactly...
I am a “RADICAL CONSTITUTIONALIST”, and I don’t swallow leftist media propoganda blindly.

Which puts me on the enemies list of the current regime....

Worst kept secret since the ‘Bay of Pigs” invasion. Obama is a radical Che Guavera Marxist who wants to do what Reagan did for conservatism for liberals. Change the direction of the country.

In other Breaking News: Pro Wrestling is fake.
