Homosexual acts, like any other sin, does not preclude a believer from salvation.
Arguing that God is okay with homosexual acts, thus distorting the word of God, will.
I wish people would separate homosexuals from those who are pushing the gay agenda. One group are just fallen sinners no different from you or I, the latter is a whole different story.
It’s possible to express outrage at the latter without hating the former.
Of course. It’s one thing to welcome a homosexual to church with open arms (and I would). But it’s another to allow them to be a pastor.
Well said.
Amen! (so good even a Presbyterian yells Amen!)
And I've known some fine, Jesus loving Episcopalians.. my prayers go out to them.
That is just it. Homosexual acts are a sin and it should always be condemned by all true Christian churches, as is adultery, etc.
If a homosexual isn’t acting on those destructive, nihilistic desires, then why would they describe themselves as a homosexual? I would think that it is more important and the information would be more accurate to describe oneself as a Christian, or lawyer, or numerous other adjectives that would be more suitable under the circumstances.
I do not want to be privy (nor do I want my children) to be forced to think about what people do in their private sexual lives or give my children the impression that homosexual behavior is normal and good when it is abnormal and destructive to societies. I thought “they” wanted the right to privacy!!!! It is like the opposite with the obscene parades, etc., even in the schools—with books to brainwash 4 year olds and indoctrinate them into the lifestyle.
