Roger Cohen of the New York Times is rapidly becoming Irans foremost apologist in the United States which is saying something considering how many others are all too willing to excuse and explain away the mullahs murderous misconduct. In his latest special pleading on behalf of the theocratic dictators in Tehran, Cohen trots out the Mother of All Dumb Analogies: Imagine if Roosevelt in 1942 had said to Stalin, sorry, Joe, we dont like your Communist ideology so were not going to accept your help in crushing the Nazis. I know youre powerful, but we dont deal with evil.

Well......Why didn’t he? Maybe he should have. WWII and the Cold war would have been one on the same day. TWO! Count ‘em TWO evil empires destroyed at the same time.
Sounds to me like FDR screwed up.
The big difference with this imbecile Cohen is that there is no parallel. IRAN is the chief exporter and enabler of terrorisim in the world today, not someone who is simply allied with them. They ARE the equivalent of Nazi Germany in 1942.

Was this a delayed April fools piece or satire or is Cohen hearing voices?
Yes.
Most people would consider Cohen to be psychotic if he didn't have the imprimatur of the New York Slimes attached to his name. Frankly, I had never heard of this airhead before and couldn't care less if I never see another article by him again.
