Playing pansy politics with pirates put the Captains life at increased risk. His first escape attempt was thwarted by the thugs as Phillips remained adrift from the aid and cover of the US Navy, which sat restrained by an administration too cowardly to let slip the dogs of war. Each day the tension and humiliation of a nation grew. The emboldened pirates fired upon our men of action, who thus restrained could not yet act in kind. The terrorists defiant lack of fear inspired their fellows to target other American vessels. All while the community organizer in chief flipped through his conflict resolution handbook.
But here, at long last, the captive captain is free. He leapt clear and our faithful Navy, apparently at last free to take the safety off, rid the world of three contemptible degenerates and have the fourth in custody to question. So the bold leap into the sea frees the President of the burden to act.
In the end, Captain Phillips wasnt saved by the President, but by his own courageous plunge and the deadly professionalism of our men with guns. The President, you see, was saved by the Captain.

This might be true, but until I hear the military say that they were restrained by Obama, I’m going to give the Kenyan Usurper the benefit of the doubt in this matter.
>>The President, you see, was saved by the Captain.
Truer words were never posted nor uttered.
Brilliant! Well said & absolutely true.
Is there any link confirming that this was how the rescue went down? The White House is saying it was a pre-ordered operation.
The Navy is now saying that they acted because “the Captain’s life was in imminent danger”. That to me sounds like they are dotting the “i” if you will with regard to restrictive rules of engagement, i.e. You may only engage the pirates if the Captain is in imminent danger.
Absolutely!
From the foreign press, the first stories out say the Captain jumped overboard again, and the Seals on the ship were alert, when the pirates tried to retrieve him, the Seals fired.
Doesn’t seem to be the result of any action on the part of the PRES__ENT.
Only time will tell.
They’re lying................4 days of this garbage so the captain saved himself......BO sure didn’t
Our authority came directly from the President says the Pentagon guy at the press conference on FoxNews.
A Fox reporter has the Pentagon guy clarify that this was a standing order if the captains life was in imminent danger; O was not in direct contact with the Navy at the time.
Pentagon guy: Captain had weapon aimed at him, which Navy saw as the captain being in imminent danger.
Well, this is the way I see it. The POS in he Oval Office did nothing but make this worse.
I give all the credit to the SEALS and the Captain. He probably knew if he didn’t do something soon, he was going to get squirreled away in some back alley in a Somalia port somewhere and then it is Katie bar the door.
That says it all. Their hands were tied. The captian forced their hand against the absurd restrictions put in place by the Forever *sshole.
Absolutely!
I was so furious when they announced that President Obama had saved him. What absolute BULL )(*((*&&. He has said not a word and now, just like in every other case, he takes advantage of a situation to interject himself and make himself look good. These people have not a jot or a tiddle of descency. ANY other President would have said, “The Captain is free due to his own courage and the quick action of our Navy who took advantage of the situation and moved instantly, precisely and accurately. I am so proud of them all”....but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Obama has to stand up and proud point his thumb at himself............he makes me SICK.
The mere fact that the words “immediate danger” to the life of the hostage are used - says it all.
There was no order from Obama. Captain Frank Castellano took matters into his hands using the only legal recourse - “immediate danger” - available for that. God bless him!
Gee, I guess I am not smart enough to understand this. According to BO, being tied up in a lifeboat with terrorists did not put the Captain’s life in immenient danger?
That the way I see it. Another 0 vote of present.
Wonder if bambie learned anything from this about negotiating with world leaders? NOT
AP reported that 0 “approved the rescue”. Then they updated the article just now to say he approved the use of force “twice” - once on Fri. and on Sat.
So... did he ‘un’approve the use of military force in between?
Confusing enough?
