TEHRAN, Iran — Iran now controls the entire cycle for producing nuclear fuel with the opening of a new facility to produce uranium fuel pellets, the Iranian president said Saturday.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made the speech two days after the inauguration of the facility which produces uranium oxide pellets for a planned 40-megawatt heavy-water nuclear reactor near the town of Arak, central Iran.

Production of nuclear fuel pellets is the final step in the long, complicated chain of nuclear fuel cycle.

But we’re just going to “talk” with them. They’ll no doubt be impressed by Obama’s willingness to engage them unlike the unreasonable, arrogant George Bush, and agree to not use their nuclear weapons on Israel. Besides, how do we know they don’t just want nuclear energy? Yeah, that’s the ticket, they just want to power their electric cars sometime in the future. Let’s not worry about it...pass the pizza.

Maybe - maybe not. I don’t necessarily believe what comes out of this lying, holocaust-denying, weasel.

to be honest. it´s possibly that they will only want to use nuclear enegry for civilian only. but same could be said for the other side. you can´t thrust them that´s all. but then again this is about israels security so the standart european does not give a rats a$$ about them. so “we” contine to support iran because this country is just more important to “us” than israel. isn´t geo politics just fun?

Oh yeah. But considering what they’ve said about wiping Israel off the map, and considering that Ahmadinajad aka “Stinky” is a terrorist and maniac, I think it might be prudent to take him at his word and assume they don’t have peaceful purposes in mind.

true but you assume that europe cares about israel the same way like the US does which btw. europe does not. iran is far more important to europe like for example israel could ever be. that´s not my personal impression this is a fact. just follow the money.btw. i don´t judge between good or
bad, right or wrong i´m only stating the facts. iran is to europe what saudi arabia is to america. a important oil supporter. israel well it´s to most of europe a forreign country we don´t care. and if “we” care most people think they are wrong how they behave. a fact is israel is in no way important for europe but iran is. they have the same stand like a god forsaken country in africa for which nobody really cares. they are there. so be it. nobody wants them getting killed but then again nobody shares some personal feelings for them.

and btw. bevore you think most of europe does not care about america. this is not true. we all watched 9/11 and we have been shocked too. and i do not know anyone who might have said well i don´t care. but then again rockets against israel? who still cares? just normal news.
greetings

No, I definitely don’t assume Europe cares anything about Israel - I know they don’t. Although I didn’t know they rely so heavily on Iran’s oil. Not surprising, though. No, I think Israel pretty much has only us to stand by them, although with Obama now I’m not so sure. Which is why that little Iranian twerp with the Napolean complex is flexing his muscles. And he’s not the only one. Look at N. Korea, Somalia....expect more. They see he’s pathetic and weak. His recent European foray proved it - apologizing all over the place, bowing to dictators. And then we have Chuckie Schumer saying a strong foreign policy is a thing of the past. We’re in for some bigger “tests” than this. Remember what Biden said during the campaign - that Obama will be tested. Well hang on, we’re in for a bumpy ride.

Course if our much overpaid c.i.a. had its pooh together this fuel would blow sky high about now.
But again they are the gang that couldn’t shoot straight or even see the fall of the soviet union.

Don’t worry - the Israelis will take care of it. They’re not going to let this go on too much longer.

The California one. Yes, I’m an ex-hippie Berkeley radical along the lines of David Horowitz. Mea culpa. But I’ve changed my ways, thank goodness, come over to the light side. You know what Churchill said - if you’re not a liberal when you’re young you have no heart and if not a conservative when old you have no brain.

U.C. Berkeley is a great school. It just has a long history of liberalism.
If you went there in its heyday then you experienced quite a lot most who went to say Oregon State never dreamed of.
