Obama Badly Failed the Pirates Situtation And Greatly Emboldened Our Enemies The test of the Somali pirates has come and gone and Obama failed this test very badly.
This situation should have been solved easily in the first few hours of the incident by dispatching a Navy Seals team to kill the pirates and prevent anyone from being taken as a hostage. In fact it would have been solved yesterday when the brave Captain attempted to escape but orders were given not to interfere and thus he was recaptured.
When the going gets tough the tough gets going but the weak will fold in cowardice. Obama has shown a shocking weakness in this pirate situation which is relatively very easy compared to the other dangers and threats we are facing and by doing so he greatly emboldened our other more dangerous enemies such as Al Qaeda terrorists, the Taliban terrorists, the Iranian terrorist regime, the North Korean communist regime, Hizballah terrorists, Hamas terrorists, etc... let alone Russia and China.
No matter what we do in this pirate situation it is already too late. Even if we end up killing the pirates and go on to bomb Somalia the horrible fact is that Al Qaeda terrorists, the Taliban terrorists, the Iranian terrorist regime, the North Korean communist regime, etc... now know for certain that Obama is the weakest President ever and they are going to take full advantage of this and cause us a lot of harm.
That is the big picture we should be looking at and that is the situation that we are in now. It is a very messy situation and it going to get much worse in the future.
If Obama can’t even protect an American sailing with just a handful of thugs surrounded by the US Navy, with Seals and others within reach, as isolated as you can be on the high seas, how safe do YOU feel walking your busy streets?

They created the problem themselves, by continually paying those pirates for years now. Why should the U.S. “bail them out”....

I have not been able to understand how the captain escaped and was re-captured.
Instead of sending Jimmy Carter to be a diplomat pest, like former administrations, Obama should send George W. Bush to attack other countries he isn’t capable of attacking.
I scanned that article...I didn’t see where it says the Navy was told to stand down.

The plan has always been to take them to court and fight them there.
Obama is a pussy. It seems that the rest of the world can see that. Too bad the stupid American sheep who voted for him couldn’t see that.
Of course the article will not tell you this and no one will admit it. But it is certain that the Navy if it has the orders to interfere would have taken advantage of this situation killed the pirates and freed the brave Captain. Where is the stealth Navy Seals team that is very close to the tiny pirate boat? Do not you think that they should be there?
