By an overwhelming 87/13 Barack Obama is losing his battle to force FOCA on America
The news about America’s feelings toward continuing the conscience clause in contacts between the government and medical professionals is good for the pro life community. It is a stunning rebuke for the pro abortion forces in the Obama Administration.
If average Americans were asked to vote on FOCA today, the pro abortion Democrats would be thoroughly crushed.
A March 23-25 survey conducted by The Polling Company revealed there is an overwhelming sentiment in favor of continuing the conscience clause which protects those who recognize doing abortions is morally repugnant, from retaliation by the government for refusing to do abortions.
Obama is proving to be absolutely tone deaf on FOCA the Freedom of Choice Act that would force Catholic hospitals to commit abortions regardless of religious objections to this heinous crime.
The poll indicates more than 7 of 10 American adults agreed it is important to “make sure that healthcare professionals in America are not forced to participate in procedures and practices to which they have moral objections.”
More bad news for pro abortion Democrats
The data raises a bright red flag signaling pro abortion Democrats had better pull back and rethink FOCA.
It said even 80% of Obama voters support continuation of the special exemption for medical professionals who believe in life over death.
When respondents were told the poll specifically referred to forcing the medical community to commit abortions, 63% still supported the right of individuals and institutions to refuse to commit abortions.
Even Democrats (52%) and 60% of self described pro choice voters supported the clause.
The survey was all bad news for pro Abortion Democrats. Only 11% said they would be more likely to vote for a Representative who opposed FOCA.

Basically, a young king, who initially loved the Lord, became very powerful, and subsequently became very arrogant.
And, instead of staying within his sphere of power, the State, he decided that he would engage in activities outside of his allowed sphere of power, and get involved in Church activities. God struck him down with leprosy. He was confined, and his son took over his reign.
Polls like this mean nothing to liberals. They know the sheeple need someone like Obama to think for them.

When the Obama people are so far outside the mainstream of public opinion, their usual technique is to try to accomplish things secretly without the public being aware of what is going on (like with the provisions in the stimulus bill that no one was allowed to read before Congress voted on it).

This is supreme arrogance on the part of the Obama Administration. Even pro-choice advocates (except the most radical) are very uncomfortable with forcing people to do something which is against their conscience. It is a basic matter of respect.
