But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.
2 Peter 2:1

What's more important to "Pastor" Warren -- preaching the Truth or dinner at the White House?

Like most mega churches, the “pastor” is in the business of church building and not spreading the word of God.

“But realize this, that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5

He’s an evangelical? I always put him into the touchy feely group of non denominationals that include that flim flam artist in Houston’s mega church.

Tit 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

What a disapointment Pastor Warren is. He’s been entrusted by God with a voice. But he refused to use it to take a stand for Christ.

The only good response is exactly what the Bible says about it...

Romans 1:16-32

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,

25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,

30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;

32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

It’s kind of hard to top that...

This makes me sad, because I’ve defended Pastor Warren against a lot of believers who have accused him of compromising his faith, because of his associations with “sinners”. On that point alone, Jesus wouldn’t be very popular in most Christian churches either, because he hung in the roughest neighborhoods with the undesirables of society. That said, I don’t know what Pastor Warren does with “a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

Like my children say to me (when I had to explain Prop 8 signs here in CA on Election Day) — “Mommy, the puzzle pieces don’t fit with two men, do they?”

No, children...the puzzle pieces do NOT fit.

Rick Warren and the Osteens are frauds. They love the Islamo-abortionist. Hopefully their “flock” will wake up before they are sheared by these stinking hucksters.

You know...I had a feeling about this guy. I watched him very closely during the debates. I knew something wasn’t right about him, but, I couldn’t put my finger on it.

If he still has a congregation, they might ought to start praying for his soul. Unfortunately, he has gone to the dark side.

Warren, Olsteen, Benny Hinn, Copeland, etc. etc.

There are quite a number of genuin mega church pastors however those above are at the top of the false prophet list as far as I’m concerned.

John Hagee is one of my favs.

"by their fruits, you shall know them."

I am an ordained SBC (conservative pastor), and Rick Warren has nothing important to say as far as I am concerned.
