How sad. The driver who caused the crash was driving on a suspended license because of a prior DUI - pathetic.

It’s so sad. I saw him pitch last night. AMAZING game, too bad they ended up blowing the lead and losing the game. The bastard that drove drunk should NOT have even been driving. He had a suspended license and previous DUI arrests. I hope he is charged with 1st degree murder and giving the death penalty. He took away 3 innocent lives. He deserves to fry

The driver was an illegal I assume.

How can it be possible that a person with a suspended license be driving a car in the first place?

How can it be possible that a person with a suspended license be driving a car in the first place? you ought to sit in a traffic court sometime. You'd be amazed at the number of DWS cases.

"The driver was an illegal I assume. Hard to tell from just the picture. It is SoCal after all. But, it's certainly possible. From what I understand, Latino illegals do have a slightly higher DUI incident rate than the general population.

And, in Indiana they aren’t automatically jailed when stopped and caught anymore as they used to be because of BMV’s error rate on technical suspensions.

I have often stated that DUI drivers at the scene of accidents they caused - should be immediately shot.
Those not shot immediately, later being found to have been previously convicted of DUI — should THEN be shot.
Excessive? No.... It's our tolerance of scofflaws who kill people that HAS been excessive.

Thinking the same too - probably not of the same family though .... BTW, lots of people slam Gallo wine as trash. I happen to like it. I’ve been to many wine tasting parties and invariably they’ll serve up Gallo in a fancy bottle and people couldn’t tell the difference from real expensive stuff ....

Probably not ... I guess any crime done these days is attributed to an illegal ...

Yes... it matters. And yes it’s reasonable to flash on this as the act of an illegal immigrant. There has been so much crime perpetrated by illegal immigrants that it would be silly not to ask the question.
In this instance it wasn’t. So what.

The spokesman also said he believes the man, 22-year-old Andrew Gallo, was also driving on a suspended license because of a prior DUI. This should be considered felony murder, not manslaugther. He deliberately drove drunk with his license suspended due to a previous DUI. This makes the second DUI a felony. He killed Nick Adenhart durning the commission of a felony.
