Anyone who uses this article as a factual source is being duped. A quick look at the real statistics shows that violent crime in Australia has declined since the gun buy back and death by firearm has decline 47%

Your sourced chart does not show what you say. It reinforces the article’s points.

It shows assaults and sexual crimes up, homicide dropping a little.

“Gun Deaths” is a propaganda metric. Unjustified homicides are what matters. Overall homicides have dropped in both America (looser gun laws) and in Australia (much tighter gun laws), in the time period mentioned.
