I heard a clip yesterday by Rep. Laura Richardson (D-Ca.) who stated that some of the people in Cuba live better than some of the people in her congressional district. If this in fact is true then the people in her district who she is referring to, as well as herself, ought to be ashamed of themselves. But that is exactly the problem. There is no shame. Shame has been replaced by utter dependence on government, which is precisely what Castro and the likes of Ms. Richardson want.

As far as Cuba is concerned, if this place is such an “island paradise” why is it run more like a prison that freedom loving people try to escape from? Castro will soon be joining his mentors in the fiery pits of hell for all of eternity. I suspect that the members of the “Black” Congressional Caucus have their reservations made as well.

“the people in her district who she is referring to”

absolutely. the only poverty in America is due to bad attitude. ANYONE willing to try can do well in America.

“if this place is such an “island paradise” why is it run more like a prison that freedom loving people try to escape from?”

God help us, that we have to even say such things; that actual congresscritters provoke such statements.

“...people in Cuba live better than some of the people in her congressional district”

Sooooo, these idiots only visited the tourist resorts of Cuba? Were they given sugar to go with their morning coffee or did they have to have the managers bring it to them after an official request?

Their level of stupidity is astounding...
