The White House today said that Mr. Obama's bow was due to the fact that Obama is taller than the Saudi king and he bent down to shake the king's hand with both of his. The video on YouTube shows differently so, I thought the relevant frame of video should be given it's own thread.
Either Mr. Obama has grown a third hand or the "unnamed White House source" is a total liar.
Video link. Stop the video at :05 and :12.
The bow happens before the double handed hand-shake.
not=note
..but the only video I can find show him bending over to receive a medal ? from the Saudi King (whatever that was about)
Splains why all the lib ladies are so in love with the HNIC.
My apologies to the thread cops watching, hey the devil made me do it.
[I do know that Bush held hands with the Saudi king and that was a damn shameful sight byte.]
We didn’t like it at the time but while doing some research I read an article saying that he ‘held the Prince’s hand because he was old and wobbly’. That it was a kindly gesture.
Now I read it is the same Saudi King so it’s confusing.
Its not even a question of if he bowed or not of course he did and to lie about it is just plain silly and nefarious.
The real question is why did Obama lie about bowing? If Obama and his administration are willing to lie when they are doing something right in front of the Whole World Watching, then just think how much more so they lie about the big things. The Obama defenders claim this is a trivial matter. Ok, lets assume it is. Then why did Obama and his administration lie about a trivial matter?
This is knee jerk lying at a pathological level, even besting the Clintons.
So we have firmly established that this president and his administration will lie about ANYTHING to include the very thing he is doing right in front of our faces. Then why should we not then assume he is most certainly lying about major issues such as his Long Form Birth Certificate or whether or not he is even a legal POTUS and not a USURPER.
What is really disturbing about this is that this president and his administration take America to be a bunch of chumps. Its an insult to the intelligence of the American people.
We can safely assume that anything this president and his administration tell us from here on out is one big fat fabrication and lie.
.
Hussein II is destroying “his” minority group
Muslim, lying, stealing citizens wealth and futures
“His” group will find very few of America’s voters that are not of “his” ethnicity - that will even think of voting for another “like him”
Think of the laid off union auto workers who believed his endless BS lies
No “card check” will help them if the factory is closed and high paying jobs are gone for them forever, or moved south - or overseas - or to Canada - or Mexico
Teacher’s unions see their pension investments cut in half now - Great job Obama!
One day he says something and the next day he changes it. The way things are going for him I wouldn't doubt he is in a panic now.
Lol, you used to use that word a lot, as ‘it's a panic’!!
.
Unemployment is up to 8.5% now under Hussein II
Highest in 25 years
Hussein II is Carter & McGovern & Castro all rolled into a steam room
Next: At least 50 billion to BAILOUT big insurance companies (watch for Warren Buffet to make a ton on this too!)
Another Pansy Scheme!
Did you see the thread about Obama suggesting Cuba for a state? It had just started and I didn’t read the full article, thought it might be parody, lol.
Very good point.
.
Cuba for a state?
Yikes! Instant Commies!
What a black hole to throw money into!
Those Cubans who left after Castro grabbed their homes, farms, the American businesses and buildings stolen by Castro -
They still have huge registered claims on their stolen assets in Cuba
Obama could lose more votes than ever by opening up Cuba
Yes, it was on a thread. You’re right though, those people are poor and we’d have another instant welfare state, lol.
Someone wrote that at least he called it the 51st state and not the 57th. Others said ‘those’ would come later...
.
Hussein II has not not even started to “remake” America and all of it’s culture and customs and ideals
Well, he’s making a pretty good jab at it in his first hundred days. Seems like every day there is something more to be upset about. But this is just the lead up for him I guess.
.
Huge amnesty for illegals coming up now
Including many from HAMAS.....
In-sourcing terrorism and violent crime and a bigger welfare state
[Including many from HAMAS.....]
I can’t believe he is wanting to bring them into the United States! I hope there is a HUGE backlash about that.
.
He has Congress
Steamroller
Wait until unemployment hits 12% and the DOW drops another 30%
Nothing added
Nothing saved
Higher taxes
$4.00 gasoline again
Afghanistan deaths and injuries
Still in Iraq
Census by ACORN - counting illegals (for more Reps!)
401Ks still tanking
Mucho illegals
Home values dropping
Obama-Care
Obama-In-Tour-Gun-Cabinet
“We inherited it from Bush” will no longer work
Obama demonstrates the ability to grasp a short, but non-Kingly, Saudi's hand with two hands in an upright posture, at the same reception
Hey, you can cure your disappointment about Bush holding hands with the Crown Prince.
See it at
http://www.truveo.com/PRESIDENT-BUSH-HOLDING-HANDS-WITH-SAUDI-CROWN/id/1524375429
You will see that the Prince had just gotten out of his car and that President Bush lent him a hand up the tricky steps, for the Prince was 81 years old. You will also see Bush look at the steps himself, showing obvious care. And, right behind the Prince, one of his aides does stumble back upon hitting those steps. Bush was doing the same thing you or anyone would have done for an elderly guest... being careful and courteous. I did the same for my dad for years (give him a hand) and often all the way up the walk. First, I did not want him to fall. And secondly, just as important, I did not want him to embarrass himself. Bush commented the next day that he was giving the Prince “a hand” but the press did not print it, for the press had a better story the other way, “their” way. And, typical of Bush, he did not chase it. He let it go. He did retain his dignity by not battling the left, whom he knew would not listen. Watch the clip several times - it becomes more clear every time that it was a thoughtful gesture - not “holding hands”.
