This is to be expected, which is why folks need to stay calm and focused. BTW, laughing at them makes them really mad. Not responding to them is equally effective. The police will see who the trouble makers are.

Unfortunately, it will not matter to the MSM who starts any violence that occurs. The mere fact that violence occured will be spun in such a way as to make the tea party supporters seem like dangerous extremists. No good will come of it. Just be aware that agitators will be in attendance and take precautions. Distance yourselves from any suspicious types and make others aware.

I’ll try laughing at them. Lord help whomever throws a punch at me though - I’ll knock them back to the 9/10...

This bears repeating, and goes for just about any leftist demonstration.

Shouting matches are exactly what they want; it's their preferred form of communication, since they're utterly incapable of reasoned discourse. Getting angry at them gives them a dignity they don't deserve. Just laugh at them like the clowns they are.

ITA. Nine times out of ten, these goofballs are very easy to spot in a crowd. There is always something about them that just doesn’t seem “right.” And when they start acting up, they just draw attention to themselves and seem even more out of place.

They want to get in confrontations and fights. Ignoring them works best. My husband and I were in Las Vegas last July; there was a “9-11 Was An Inside Job” dude shouting and screaming at a crosswalk. Surprisingly, most of the crowd waiting to cross the street just blatantly ignored him. A few guys made fun of him and went on their way. This just agitated him even more.

That's my gameplan.

When they tried to disrupt Sarah Palin rallies/ and a JOE the PLUMBER speech event, we would shout U S A , U S A, U S A, U S A, and they would get mad and give up and slink away.
