The whole business sounds like sifting through millions of tons of dirt to find a fleck of gold and then deriving equations that describe how the search was done and the gold was found.
This process must have a good name, something catchy, like The Certainty of Chance or Random Predictability, yeah, that works.
O.K., Here's my theory of Random Predictability: Any act performed often enough and with enough modifications will produce results close to reality provided that all results obtained are measured against that reality and only the closest are kept and recycled. Secondly, I get to make the rules.
