NBC Brings Back Polar Bears and Penguins for Global Warming Alarmism

Between the very cold winter in many places and everyone including Vanity Fair focused on the economic downturn, many in the news media took a vacation from global warming alarmism. But on April 6, NBC brought the hype back with yet another story about the threat of melting ice caps.

Anchor Brian Williams introduced an "Our Planet" segment by reminding viewers that the Obama administration was remaining active on the issue of climate change.

"The Obama administration is calling for greater protection of the earth's polar regions, including limits on tourism," Williams said. "Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made the proposals at a global summit in Washington. Coincidentally, it comes two days after a crucial ice bridge collapsed at the South Pole, effectively changing the map of that part of the world."

About 250,000 years ago, there were no polar bears. Back then it got so warm the Boreal Forests grew to the Arctic Ocean. Then came the wayward brown bears. They soon learned there were lots of good things to eat around the Arctic, all you needed to do was turn white, so as to not scare the seals, and learn to swim long distances.

And so they did. We call them polar bears, brown bears call them their northern whitey clan.

Should we try and eliminate the interloper polar bears, and restore the native species ??

My ‘indoctinated’ 9-yr-old was talking about the poor polar bears the other day. I asked him if he saw the picture of the polar bear stuck on a chard of ice. He said yes. I told him the photo was a fake and asked him what polar bears do reaaaaaaaaly well. He answered, “Swim.” I nodded. ;-)

If we were really tired of these Media Statist, we would work in a collaborative effort to stop them.

Going after their advertisers has worked in the past OR create a group(s) that would buy out the voting share stocks, create a voting majority, and remove the Statist from the executive positions and the newsrooms.

Standing in line yesterday. Two idiots standing in front of me. One actually noted the snow and said "It's colder than ever. This Global Warming is going to be the end of us all! Pretty soon, there won't be any Polar Bears left!"
