"Mr. Obama is proving that one can be elected president without knowing how to behave presidentially. His servile gesture was fully fitting with the tone of his humility tour of Europe. In his eagerness to be loved personally, the president has lost sight of the fact that the leader of the free world also must be respected."

The left calls them the Moonie Times and disregards them. It’s not yet in a leftie accepted publication.

The Washington Times is a conservative newspaper. Most Americans do not read the WashTimes. Most Americans will neither know about nor care about the bow. Most Americans are distracted by shiny objects.

“No Americans of any station are required to bow to royalty. It is one of the pillars of American exceptionalism that our country rejected traditional caste divisions.”
Ahhh, but obama is determined to prove America is not exceptional and his mission is to take us down a few notches. He is the President of victims of America, and cannot conceive that he is the leader of the free world.

I love the fact that Sarko is laughing at him in the background.
Since the beginning of the Republic, Americans bow down to no one. We don’t curtsy to royalty either.
Frank Gaffney explained that this was a symbolic gesture, well understood by the world of Islam. A kind of code they all know the meaning of.
Gaffney said it signalled Obama’s submissiveness, especially to Shariah Law. Now Shariah Law is THE law of the land in some parts of Pakistan. His deep bow from the waist signifies he is OK with that, and when they put Shariah Law in Afghanistan, he will not oppose.
I am not one for kooks stuff and conspiracy theories, but Frank Gaffney is one of the top experts on Islamo-fascism.
Makes total sense to me.

Obama would kiss satan’s a$$ if he thought it would give him more power or make him more popular. It’s crossed my mind that he has already sold his soul. His impeachment can’t come soon enough.
To: Talisker
Interestingly, however, without a photo of the bow.

The bow was an extraordinary protocol violation. Such an act is a traditional obeisance befitting a king's subjects, not his peer. The Washington Times is exactly correct, but why are we seeing this brought up only several days after the event?
As far as I can see this, this extraordinary event was not mentioned in a single MSM article --- even the Washington Times is just now running it, and it's in an editorial printed many days after the event.

Really, it's close to official just a few weeks into his occupancy of the Oval Office.

Yeah, but you gotta admit that N.D. Roosevelt, Jimmuh, & the Clinktons all run a close second.
