Is anyone making a database/keeping tabs on Acorn/Acorn-like groups? Over the past weeks I've noticed a re-activation of what quite obviously appeared to be an Acorn cell operating in the Northern VA area just down the street from wher I work. Same schedule, similar looking bunch of characters, about the same force strength (estimate a couple of dozen) as was operating for a few weeks up to the November election. I assume this time collecting names for the budget petition. I'll be glad to provide information on my observations to anyone interested.
I signed up for the Acorn newsletter a few months ago. I find it interesting how they use language like “boots on the ground” and “become a home defender” in them. Also, they are quite funny (in a sick way): “keep America a foreclosure free zone” was the focus of one of them.
Where ‘bouts in Nova? Go ahead and post the address.
In fact, post the daggone address, please. Won’t hurt one bit for folks to know where these filth are located.
Has someone pinged the T party list about the ACORN infiltration?

Their chow wagon pulls in at 1830 with bagged evening meals which they line up for, some with clipboards in hand. That’s about the extent of my observations.
Maybe I should join to cause chaos and mischief inside of ACORN, and getting paid to do it. But nevermind, I don’t like those people, not one bit.

Hmm! I've heard that drug dealers show up at lots of motels with "bags" of goodies. Maybe your observations aren't complete yet. It would be awful if someone were to be afraid that drug gangs were operating out of there and decided to call the police.
Mmmmm, sounds like they get a good supper. Boulevard Motel 9845 Lee Hwy, Fairfax, VA. 6:30pm local. Now, I’d hate to see any one get hurt there, at that time, at that place. Because, you know, I don’t beleive in violence. Though, sadly, there are people who do.

The ACORN / Tea Party issue was brought up first on this thread, I think.
As far as getting on all the T Party pings, not sure how to do that!
You posted this vanity, assuming one thing ... only to tell us that you've determined that they have a meal in the evening? That's pretty much it?
From this Google review, the place sounds perfect for Acorn...
Yuck!!! - doba - Aug 6, 2008 I rented a room here for one week due to this hotel being only one within my budget. The room they gave me smelled so bad I had febreeze the carpet every night. The A/C system simply blows stinky air into the room. The bathroom has scum all over the place. There hundreds of stuff you can count as ridiculous compared another low-budget hotel but I won't get into that. The people there(owners?) are well-intentioned but are clearly living in the another century. Just DO NOT stay here unless you really have to
