For the second time in a week, CNBC's Rick Santelli faced down one of the standard-bearers of liberalism.
First, he explained to Huffington Post editor and founder Arianna Huffington on the March 31 "Squawk Box" that markets are more efficient in correcting economic hardship, in the banking and housing sectors. On CNBC's April 3 "The Call," Santelli took on University of California at Berkeley economics professor and former Secretary of Labor for President Bill Clinton, Robert Reich.
According to Reich, the agreement brokered between President Barack Obama and other G20 leaders - to give the International Monetary Fund (IMF) $1.1 trillion - was positive and should be celebrated.

The IMF shouldn’t be trusted with a single penny.
I’d love to see Santelli move to FoxNews or FBN. CNBC hasn’t reigned him in like Cramer
The IMF, that gave us such talented managers as TurboTax Timmy?
Cramer is a dufus IMO. Santelli is great - he tears-up the government interventionalists.
Yep. And don’t forget about my favorite over there, Larry Kudlow.

Perhaps because Santelli actually knows what he's talking about. Cramer is about as accurate with stocks as Algore is with predicting hurricanes.
Yeah, I wonder how much "profit" he gets in his paycheck.
Ein Reich, Ein Volcker, Ein Fuhrer.
Actually there is no profit left once people like Reich get paid. I doubt he has worked for a profit making organization in the last 30 years. Great economists do not seem to understand that it is the lure of profit that makes everything happen. I know that his type have no use for the lowly cigar, but consider whether cigars would even exist at all if we had to depend upon government planners. Why would they have ever opened a cigar factory?

Obama is spending a Trillion a month since taking office.
Oh, that’s where he came from.
Jawohl!
Speaking of market shorts........
Reich matriculted at Dartmouth, Oxford and Yale. He was on the faculty at Harvard. He served in three administrations -- as Assistant to the Solicitor-General (Ford), Director of Policy Planning for the FTC (Carter) and Secretary of Labor (Clinton).
And, still, he doesn't know $hit! He has learned nothing of value. He has accomplished nothing of merit. He has created zilch.
What does that say about our leading educational institutions and our government bureaucracy?
And Santelli was silenced for most of the last 30 seconds while RR had free rein.
