Then tell the foo not to vote “present” on legislation to socialize salaries.
NO, one does not “announce” that he will engage in “bare-knuckle” politics. He DOES IT!!!
Notice who wrote the article...
Jackie Kucinich
That would be the UFO’s daughter.
why did Cantor vote ‘present’ on the bill to cap pay????
I am totally losing faith in ANY alleged conservative because none of them can tow the line.
But what about engaging with those of us who put him in office?
How was his family attacked?
his wife works for a bank that got fed bailout
Dems are running attack ads that he had conflict of interest
see today’s WSJ
Did the Dems mention anything about Dodd’s wife’s association with AIG?
When The Hammer used to walk into a room full of Dems, it would fall into silence, and you could hear a pin drop, they were scared to death of DeLay, which is why the Dems and Rinos got together to trump up false charges against DeLay. Charges which have not gone to trial in over 2 years, they got nothin.
If Cantor had even 1/10th of DeLay's moxy, he would be doing a fine job.
Not to mention he got a lot of slack from the MSM for going to see Britney Spears live instead of watching Obama’s speech.
Personally, I would have done the same but I would have settled for turning the channel.
Good info on Tom Delay. IIRC Tom Delay actually had a job in the real world before he went to DC.
It’s been reported that Cantors statement was issued from underneath his desk. Way to go, you big ‘ol butch son of a gun!
Cantor=sissy boy.
I like Cantor a lot, but I have to say that I’m a bit surprised and disappointed on his recent votes on the bonus tax and voting “present” on the budget.
I can’t really figure out why that is, because he’s been a solid conservative for all of his career and represents a fairly conservative district. I will give him credit for engineering unanimous opposition to the stimulus bill, however.
I’m not about to toss the guy overboard, by any means.
The Dems ran ads attacking his wife for working at a subsidiary of a bailed out bank. It’s very weak stuff.
Yep. DeLay was hated and feared because he was effective. It may not be pretty, but the fact is that you need tough, hard-nosed guys like that to get things done. The Republican party grew weaker when he left.
Did the Dems mention anything about Dodd's association with AIG?
Well, I live in his district and I am disgusted with him.
He is one of the socialist pod people now.
