It’s like linking arms. Older men in a lot of non-US places link arms when they walk around, and Arabs (and until only a few years ago, Spaniards) hold hands. All it means is friendship. Granted, that may have been a misunderstanding in this case, but Bush would have severely insulted him by pushing his hand away, so there probably wasn’t much of an alternative.
Bambi, on the other hand, went in and voluntarily bowed before the Saud king. Big difference.

There’s a big difference. Kissing (in Europe and the ME) is a sign of friendship between equals. It may not be what we do here in the US, but that’s all that it means.
Bowing is just that - bowing, a sign of submission. But since the Saudi king probably paid for Bambi’s entire campaign, hey, why not?

This picture of Bush hand in hand with the king and walking beside him shows them as equals prepared to work together, Obama bowing shows that he is their servant or subject and ready to obey their edicts.
One is of two leaders in the world and the other is of a leader and his servant.

The only thing you need to understand is that Obama is deferring to his “Masters”. Wonder no more where those Millions of unaccounted for campaign contributions came from. Wonder no more where his allegiance lies — it is NOT with America!
An American President bows to NO-ONE! (The only possible exception would be a mutual bow when greeting a Japanese diplomat for example, but that only shows mutual respect, and NOT submission!)
Even if, SOMEHOW, Obama convinces the American Sheeple that this isn’t what it really was, our enemies in the Radical Islamic world know EXACTLY what just happened and they got their confirmation... Obama is one of THEM...
