Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) said Wednesday that his party needs to take a fresh approach to government regulations in the wake of the economic crisis that has rattled the U.S. and world economies.
In an interview with The Hill, Romney said, We as Republicans misspeak when we say we dont like regulation. We like modern, up-to-date dynamic regulation that is regularly reviewed, streamlined, modernized and effective.
. . . . .
Romney believes that one way to attract more minorities to the GOP is to pass immigration reform before the next election, saying the issue becomes demagogued by both parties on the campaign trail.
We have a natural affinity with Hispanic-American voters, Asian-American voters, he said.

Someone shouldnt be able to just call themselves a doctor without going to medical school, Romney said.
Someone shouldn't be able to get elected without acing an exam on the Constitution. Unfortunately, Romney would fail.

Someone who agrees with the Democrats shouldn’t expect to get elected as a Republican. Tell me again why this guy is so hot?

I do NOT want modern, up-to-date dynamic control over my life that is regularly reveiwed, streamlines, modernized and effective. I DO NOT WANT EFFECTIVE CONTROL OVER MY LIFE, Fascist!!

I was considering him as candidate but since he is now in the amnesty group that settles that.

Exactly. How could a Republican politician be in favor of anything amnesty-related? There would simply be zero chance of ever winning an election for decades if all these freeloading, useless, commie Mexicans are allowed citizenry and the ability to vote. When does our side jettison our soft approach with this stuff and get aggressive?

Idiot statement. As though Romney would be the only candidate who could beat Obama. Romney couldn’t even beat a stiff like McCain.
