Actually, we had sent press releases to our local lib newspapers around April 2, but they refused to print them or give any pre-event coverage.

The newspaper had initially wanted to run a story a few days earlier when they got wind of it, but the two organizers didn’t have all the proper permits and speaker list ready, so we told them to wait a few days for our press release.

As usual, the newspapers became indignant at not being considered the center of the universe... and then refused to do a story when we finally sent the release.

They eventually printed a itsy bitsy 2-inch ‘announcement’ on the back of the paper.

We’ve had 12,000 hits on our web site, and if only 10% come it should be a fabulous day.

Best of luck with Party II in downtown Philly.

It will be a nice day for both!

Did you catch the story about our Tea Party in the Bulletin today?

We are so excited, Pat Toomey is going to be a speaker. I invited him in person, myself!

Front Page BTTT for both of today's events!

Our family of 6 is hoping to make the event today at Washington Crossing, it's fairly close to us. I wish we could make the downtown Philly events as well. It's been a long time since we were able to get out and let our voices be heard!

Ooh! I’m definitely going there. Lots of antiquing in those parts, and it’s lovely in the spring. On the downside, there’s lots of lefties there too, but at the tax rates they’ve got, maybe they’re open to reason now.
We used to have a place north of there on the river, so beautiful and peaceful, it felt sinful; like the architectural version of a Stepford wife, just too perfect to be right.
Then the tax man agreed...
I think I’m going to have a flashback now —

Hve a blast! SoCal, NordP and I all went to the ones here and it did bring back great memories!

Can you imagine if we had as many people out at the Naval Hospital as we have at these Tea Parties? Amazing!

The Tea Party in Philly today was a lot of fun. Many clever signs, I found myself laughing at (with) quite a few of them.

I believe there is an event scheduled for Valley Forge park a week from today, for those who may be closer.
