April 1 - Some are held captive in tiny, windowless cells; others are confined in over-crowded and squalid dormitories. Most go without basic health care and food staples; a few undergo regular beatings. All are denied basic religious freedoms, and none has been visited by members of the International Red Cross. Such is life for “enemies of the state” imprisoned in Cuba.

We will excuse you if you think we are writing about terrorist suspects imprisoned at the Guantánamo Bay detention facility. We are not.

April 1 - In a swift reaction Tuesday to a daring call for freedom by participants in a public performance art show in Havana, the Castro regime branded the speakers ''dissidents'' and "individuals at the service of the propagandistic anti-Cuban machinery.''

Yeah, I bet those Cubans are wishin they were in Gitmo!

Strangely enough, this is how most Americans and the rest of the world think Gitmo is like and not something resembling a prison resort.

My grandfather was a street sweeper in Gibara, Cuba. Every day he would he find a penny or a nickle,; spare change and drop it in a jar at home. One day the police showed up at his house and and when they found the jar accused him of theft. He languished naked in a small jail cell for 1 year.

Bambi won’t tell the truth because he and many other world leaders adore and admire Fidel Castro and wish they could have the power that he has has.

I havae always found it ironic that people criticised the conditions at Gitmo — the prisoners there live better than many regular people (not prisoners) in Cuba.

Where are his hollywood stooges to kiss his butt while Castro lets journalists rot in his jails. Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, Oliver Stone, Chevy Chase (who was stupid enough to say the “Socialism works, Cuba might prove that”, Harry Belafonte, Danny Glover, Naomi Campbell - useful idiots all.

Castro is a gangster, a tyrant, an ego maniac, a dictator who stole an entire country, a psycho who bragged about owning dozens of homes and sleeping with 5 different women a day, who has imprisoned and murdered people for the mere writing of poems. He machine gunned people fleeing in boats. He worries about dying as he should, and he used more body doubles to confuse assassins than that other great thief of the past - Joe Stalin.

He is a communist who sought the murder of 100 million Americans with Russian nuclear missiles. He called Khruschev a “maricon” for taking the missiles out. Maricon is a slang word for ‘homosexual’. I guess it didn’t offend Steven Spielberg.

Read Armando Vallardares “Against all Hope” and learn what horrors Fidel has wrought in Cuba.
