I would NEVER go to Minnesota, or buy anything from there if I could help it. Disgusting.
It would be called “Politicians dancing at the end of a rope”.

Horrible, ain’t it.
Al Franken?
The gross and repellent Al Franken?
I agree, I’ll never ever set foot in that state under any circumstances.
And just when I thought the U.S. Senate couldn’t possibly get any more despicable than it already is. Now they have the slimeball Franken as their “esteemed colleague from Minnesota.”
Just unbelievable.
I grow real tired of the cynical, “all is lost” crowd around here.
Actually, they infuriate me.
Exactly!

Have a question...
Why would you think it reasonable to supppose that nobody but you cared that our Republic is no more?
Have you read the book by Mark Levin?
He cared enough to even start writing his book before the Dems took over everything.
He thought back then we were headed for tyranny not liberty and wanted to sound the warning.
Now he seems to be writing out of today’s headlines, but that is a misleading impression when you think how long he labored over this clarion call...
And he’s just one person. His books are selling so fast they can’t print enough...
Mine arrived today.
I realize a book cannot overturn the new order.
But people first need to get their heads wrapped around something before they go forward into the abyss of chaotic battle...
As I walked my dog this afternoon I heard a radio blaring from someone’s backyard. Don’t know the person but this area I live in is very racially and ethnically mixed with people like myself in the minority.
On the radio Rush had just gone off and Hannity’s “Let Freedom Ring” theme was blasting out on an otherwise whisper quiet afternoon.
Not everyone has to express themselves in your exact same terms in order to deeply care.
I’m getting so I don’t want to ever leave Texas again. Bad enough I have to go to Illinois a couple of times a year to see relatives. At least it’s far far from Chicago.
Completely and totally WRONG.
The dems need 60 to break a filibuster, the republicans do not need 40. If this seat remains empty forever, it will favor the minority/republicans. The longer the legal battle, the easier it is for us to stop obama.
Actually, they infuriate me.”
St. Louis Conservative and others in this thread agree with me. Your head is buried in the sand if you do not see it.

How far in does the fix have to be before the fix is in?
I have the book on order with Amazon.

You don’t seem to know who you are replying to.
I didn’t say any such thing as you quote me saying.
You have me mixed up with someone else.
I wrote about Mark’s book, among several other points you didn’t comment on.
You replied about the book, but in another post to me right above it you quote me saying something I never said...
Then you ended by saying that because of what I said (which I never said), I must have my head buried in the sand.
???????
You’re not alone. This current hell we are living, is waking up many of the sleeping patriots out there. People who have never been inspired to do anything political are getting involved because of the abuse of power we are witnessing. I think it is Rush who has pointed out that everytime our country goes too far left, it goes back to the right. I am sure that by the 2010 and especially the 2012 elections, Americans will vote for freedom again, they will see what has been lost and take our country back. Hang in there. I was inconsolable after the election. I mean really really sad, somber was the word. I knew what was going to happen. It all has happened and more, and faster than expected. The growing rebellion against socialism has been very heartening. I did not expect so many usually silent conservatives, to start protesting and objecting like they are. It is a very good sign of good things to come. Seeing O take over GM was another stunner. One of many. Even some of the union auto workers went on record as not liking the firing of the CEO of GM. We are winning over not just middle of the road republicans, but some democrats who can see what is happening.
BTW, I love Levin... listen every day... and loved the Reagan speech he played today. I'd give all that I have to see Reagan live again.

Thank you for the encouragement... I needed it badly.

Quite a depressing read here.
But hey, we did not give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
Anytime. I’ve been there.
