Now, a new “feathered” dinosaur discovery has thrown a wrench into the already dysfunctional machinery of the dino-to-bird tale. This dinosaur fossil with fang-like teeth, Tianyulong confuciusi, has been found with fibers that resemble structures believed by some evolutionists to be the precursors of feathers—the only problem is, it’s the wrong category of dinosaur to have them!...

The list is quite long, and seems to be growing longer almost by the day. Indeed, the Evos had to cut down Darwood’s “tree of life” in favor of an “orchard” or “forest of life”...which is exactly what creationists predicted. Even the Big Bang and dark energy are being reconsidered in favor of a new model that predicts that we inhabit a “special” or “unusual” place in the Universe. Again, exacty as Creation cosmologists have been predicting. The HMS Beagle is going down, and its going down fast!

Personally, I’m not impressed with proclamations from the Vatican.
More than 90% of people believe in God, and (the last stats I saw) about half believe in evolution. So there is going to be some cross over.
Of course "I believe in God" can mean most anything.
Yes, but to claim that people accept evolution only because they find the notion of God unacceptable is a bubble of nothing that pops at the first good contrary example.
The majority of Christian faiths have no problem with evolution. Only a small minority of Christian sects and a the majority of Muslims are hung up on the denial of evidence for the age of the Earth and Universe and the common descent of species and the ability of life to form novel adaptations and for these adaptations to be subject to natural selection.
It is the “created with the appearance of age” Creationists who are positing God who is a liar.
Light from a dying star some ten million light years away? Just a trick from God “stretching out the heavens”, evidence of an object that never actually existed within the last few thousand years; thus, a lie.
The heavens proclaim the glory of God, they are not just a trick and a lie as most Creationists claim.

The liar argument can go both ways.
Please explain how that would make God a liar. Specifically what did he lie about?
The “appearance of age” that Creationists like to talk about would be a lie.
The evidence for common descent is either there because animals are related by common descent, or the creator went through a lot of effort to make it appear so.
My point is that Creation is not a sham and a lie to fool us into thinking that it has a great age. A young universe with an “appearance of age” necessitates the creation of fraudulent evidence.
