General Motors Corp.'s new chief executive said Tuesday that more of the automaker's plants could close and bankruptcy is "more probable" as GM works to
meet new, tougher requirements for government aid not 'to save the company' or 'to put the company on a sound fiscal footing'.... just to please the new fascist masters

Visualize unemployed UAW workers.
No sympathy. They brought it on themselves.
If y’all come to Texas, leave your entitlement union ‘tude behind! We’re a right to work state, and proud of it.

I thought Obama was the new CEO... Isn’t he the savior they’ve been waiting for?

Methinks bankruptcy would not be good for the UAW.
Is Obama really getting ready to throw the union under the bus?
He seems to be good at throwing anyone and everyone under the bus to deflect responsibility from himself.
At some point, though, he will have no one left on the bus with him.
Which is OK with me. But, is he really that dumb, or am I missing something?

Well, it's a good thing Obama flushed BILLIONS of money down the toilet already on GM. /sar
What a complete fraud.

"right to work state, and proud of it."
The US needs Federal Right To Work Laws.
Unfortunately, I think that is unconstitutional.

So, AFTER flushing BILLIONS, they declare bankruptcy and taxpayers are STILL holding the bag... Do we get ANYTHING BACK?
To: Nervous Tick
AMEN!!! Can’t wait to move back after kids out of school!

But who picks up the health care costs for 55 year old UAW
retirees? You guessed it-the taxpayers. This financial crisis will lead to a single-payer nationalize health care-that is socialized medicine.

The GM division of Obama Motors, Inc? Bankrupt? Oh, say it ain’t so, Joe!

OH gee UAW, did you vote for Obama and now are going to get screwed. Maybe you can think about that next time you vote democratic. You in Michigan who voted for Jennie, she is still raising taxes. I hope you notice. has she cut her pay or staff? Her husband has a staff of 3, WHY? Yet you vote for her.

Why would it be unconstitutional? Workers have the right to unionize, employers should have the right to fire them all if they do.

IIRC, those rights are state by state, so Right To Work has to be at the state level, not the national level.
