Obama: I saw our shared values. We fundamentally want the same things for ourselves and for each other. We want our kids to be safe and to grow up with some resources and aspire to a slightly better life than ours. No one's looking for a handout.

Think about what she's saying. She's saying that, up till now, she hasn't connected with other people. She's been living in a cloister of hate and animus. Now, all of a sudden that she's out there meeting real people she feels better.

Now that she's away from that hate spewing church she feels better.

Now that she's finally meeting peoeple, that all her life she was taught hated her, really don't hater her.

What's next? She'll say that for the first time in her adult life she's proud to be an American?

This woman is as phony as they come.

Happiness depends on happenings. Joy comes from Jesus.

MO does not know Jesus or the joy that comes from a deep personal relationship with the Son of God, so she depends on the happenings in her life to determine her level of happiness.

I can hardly think that our Laura Bush did not make folks feel welcome..they were the most gracious first couple this nation has had in a good long time..don’t filter in the politics he held..Bush never failed to thank people nor did Laura. Michelle ...who cares...
