I watch what is taking place in our country since Obama's presidency began and am saddened at the audacity of his attempt to destroy the country we love and cherish. His twisted desire to transform us into an enslaved nation regulated by powerful government agencies is a travesty of the ideals granted to the people by the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
Our Founding Fathers must be weeping in their graves at the sad state of affairs now taking place. A vicious enemy of our country could not destroy our way of life any quicker than Obama and his Chicago hacks are now feverishly attempting to implement.
I had the privilege of writing a fresh, new biography of New Hampshire's Gen. John Stark, who sacrificed much for the ideals of liberty and freedom. He would be outraged at what is now taking place and would diligently oppose those forces that would negate the universal principles he had fought so hard to preserve.
Our country has declined in moral fortitude to the point where we are on the verge of losing those values that define us as a people. It's easy to lose hope at times, but there is one shining example of hope and inspiration for the future -- the courageous deeds of the men and women who wear the uniform of our armed forces. They proudly represent the virtues of duty, honor and country, which stands in stark contrast to the conniving, deceptive, lying, power-hungry bureaucrats and politicians we have sent to Washington.
Obama is a pathetic commander-in-chief of our armed forces. His lofty speeches are little more than deceptive ruses to cloud his true intentions. He's a pathological liar grossly unworthy of the office he now holds. We have been sold a rotten bill of goods that cries out for restitution. The American people deserve better. The soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines have earned the right to be commanded by a leader with integrity, compassion, humility, and courage -- scarce commodities now on the Washington scene.
We as a nation epitomize the hopes and dreams of peoples throughout the world. We are rightfully the shining light on the hill. Two sacred documents -- the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution -- have guided this nation and elevated the nobility of man. The simple and powerful concept of "we the people" has been a beacon of hope for mankind for more than 200 years.
Obama has violated his oath of office to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution with a perverse assault upon our sacred rights. He is an inept tyrant with a chip on his shoulder against capitalism and anyone who is an achiever. His ideology insults those who gave their last full measure defending our God-given rights to liberty and freedom.
President Obama and his administration have made a mockery of everything this country holds sacred. For that he must be opposed at every turn. Americans have a right, even a duty, to take back their country.

This is the type of article and that is the kind of statement (actually letting everyone vote)that makes FR look foolish to the vast majority. While I don’t agree with Obama’s policies, just which ones are “destroying the Constitution”? And just which people do you wish to take the vote away from? Women? Blacks? Non-landowners? This type of article takes away from the good work of Freepers that are trying to fight the political fight against the Demonrats and lets people dismiss us as “just those right-wing nuts”.

You are right, and Bush Derangement Syndrome affects some on FR, since we have a SHADOW GOV’T in the CFR, Trilateral Commission, Bildebergers, it is amazing Bush was able to keep us as free as he did for those 8 yrs. And kept us from being attacked by terrorists aka members of the OCO’s.

I imagine that rage would be directed toward, we, the citizens. I imagine they would wonder why MILLIONS of Americans would sit idly while a few hundred in DC destroyed our country. I wonder the same thing. They gave us all the rights to fight tyranny, sadly, they could not give everyone the brains or the will power to do so.
It is my fervent belief that Obama is a vicious enemy of our country and is determined to destroy it.

The framers of the Constitution left eligibility to the states. Most had property qualifications for some time after the establishment of the Union of states.
You are right, the USA's left has been on this path for decades, they just saw Obama as their Hitler.

Just to make it as simple as possible:
Those who can't pass a basic test, given in english, on the US Constitution. Obviously one question should deal with the qualifications for a person to become President of the United States.
Here's a couple questions for you.
First question: Who said the following words at the 1964 Republican National Convention:
"I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue!"
Second question: Do you believe those words, AUH2O Repub?

Right. We shouldn't upset anyone. We should just choose and support candidates who won't rock the political boat, like John McCain.
