JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. The Missouri Highway Patrol this week retracted a controversial report on militia activity and will change how such reports are reviewed before being distributed to law enforcement agencies.
The Highway Patrol also will open an investigation into the origin of the report, which linked conservative groups with domestic terrorism and named former presidential candidates Ron Paul, Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin.....

Let’s make certain we vilify Militias! Why militiamen were instrumental in winning the Revolutionary war. We certainly can’t tolerate any repeat of that, now can we!

Damn, just when I was getting use to wearing my *terrorist* hat.
They might like for us to forget all about this and go on with our lives but,.....I don’t think so!
HAHAHAHA!! They are probably worried if the SHTF those militias will come looking for them.
I’m glad that the media picked this up, but...what about all the other “fusion center” reports? Do they also associate conservatives, constitutionalists and libertarians with domestic terrorists?
Amen to that. We obviously still have liberty in this country.
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. - Thomas Jefferson
Good point!
Very good statement by their governor.
Well, I sent the original story on the Highway Patrol guidelines to my PA cousin, who is a retired senior VP of a Fortune 100 company and a die-hard traditional Republican.
He emailed me back saying, "Damn! The can put me on that terrorist list! I own and display a Gasden flag and I'm on the PA state board of the NRA. Maybe instead they ought to send whoever wrote this to school and give them a history lesson, then they'd know that the Gasden flag was the first American Flag carried into battle by Col. Henry Gadsden of South Carolina. The rattle snake insignia was first designed by Ben Franklin it decorated the military drums and appeared on the brass buttons of the navy and marine uniforms--Gadsden designed the flag and it became the flag of the U.S. Navy and Marines. -- Ah, forget it, they don't even teach that kind of American hisory in school, anymore!"
You see, they don't want us to remember our Revolutionary history and for a very good reason -- they don't want another Revolution!
She also lives in St.Louis.
I've made a vow to McCaskill and myself to work as hard as I possibly can to see her defeated in 2012.
If I was from Missouri, and Conservative, I sure wouldn’t place much faith in my State Police, if push comes to shove. I bet they will take to the “Death’s Head insignia” like pig’s to slop.
“Apparently were no longer terrorists!”
Once the cat has been let out of the bag, can you get the cat back in?
To Janet, the “woman” behind this, we (Constitutionalists) are still terrorists. She’ll just have to find another source, one more willing than the MSP seems to be at this time, to demonize and harass us.
Given her power as the Supreme Czar at DHS, I’m confident she will continue her pursuit. Afterall, the continuity of “her” status and power depends on it.
Too little too late...Who says the damage has not already been done...Nothing can be done to repair this unless someone denounces publically, and brandishes those responsible for this hit piece of garbage...
I’m not holding my breath...Tell us who is behind the report, nd maybe we’ll take it from there..
Lesse...

This is now just a "Domestic Contigency Operation".
Nope, they KNOW all that stuff. What they want to know most of all is WHO LEAKED IT TO THE PUBLIC. In their view, whoever gave us the heads-up deserves jail time. To me (and most of us here), that person’s a hero. To them he’s a criminal.

The Highway Patrol also will open an investigation into the origin of the report, which linked conservative groups with domestic terrorism and named former presidential candidates Ron Paul, Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin...I'm sure they'll get to the truth of the matter -- that Republicans were behind the whole thing.
