(CNSNews.com) An Arizona congressman wants to know why Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner isnt facing tough questions over his apparent about-face on whether the U.S. would consider Chinas request to abandon the dollar as the global currency, in favor of a mix of currencies.
Geithner told Congress under oath Tuesday that he wouldnt consider Chinas proposal to shift away from the U.S. dollar toward a world currency -- then the following day (Wednesday) said the U.S. would be open to the idea.

More telling than Geithner’s answers, was Bernanke’s shifty- eyed, caught-in-a-lie look when he answered Rep. Bachmann that he would not consider abandoning the U.S. dollar in favor of an international currency. That the head of the Fed is harboring such a move is really disturbing.

Is it just me or does Geithner remind anyone else of the back-stabbing friend of Patrick Swayze in “Ghost”? I get that same queasy gut feeling watching him.

And a tax cheat, but that is redundant, isn’t it?

He isn’t facing tough questions because he’s a leftist. Leftists lie and cheat. It’s in their DNA. If these people were honest and straightforward, they wouldn’t BE leftists. Get it? He’s expected to lie! He’d only be facing tough questions if he were to accidentally tell the truth! That’s when the MSM would ask what the hell he was thinking!

In 24 hours? Well, I suppose it took him 24 hours to lie because no one in the media gave him the opportunity to do it in 12!
