Thanks for helping to get the word out, Champion.
I still need to talk to a couple of relatives and some friends.
I would LOVE to see 5000 people there on the 15th!
I sent an email to our Sunday School leader and several Fresno relatives.
I sent her an email, volunteering for the day of the event, and letting her know I’ve plenty of free time between now and then. (Only I don’t do web design, unfortunately!)
I got a response from the Howard Jarvis folks. They are sending bumper stickers to Melissa and directed me to their NO on 1A signs and fact sheets.
I will find out about getting these printed to be handed out at the event.
Here’s the correspondence
Hi Kris,
Thanks for the quick response. We understand about the event conflict. I hope you guys have a great event too. I have downloaded the 1A fact sheet and the window sign.
You can send the bumper stickers to:

Please send us a brief who, what, where and when and we will publicize your event with at least 15 others — so far — that will take place that day. Please provide this information in the next week — we plan to get it out the week of April 6.
We will send information on all to our e-mail subscribers — don’t know how many in your area, but it can’t hurt.
No, we will not be providing an official representitive because we are sponsoring our own event in Sacramento on the same day.
If you would like some No on 1A bumper stickers, please provide an address. You can download a no on 1A flyer in the Tax Revolt section of our website, www.hjta.org
Unfortunately, I am buried under a bunch of tasks that I can't get out of. I may have more time the first of next week to get more involved. I hope so!
Those buttons are GREAT ideas for signs!

Sorry - I think I posted the wrong link the last time.

Scott and I will be there with bells on. Scott will be talking it up on his show: http://www.centralvalleytalk.com
Can’t wait!!!
Welcome to the thread CAKid, I hope you can join in. There is a lot to do!
...and BTTT!!
I’ll be there!
A FReeper offered to print the flyers from the Howard Jarvis Tax Foundation. I also have a bunch of business cards coming promoting the Chuck DeVore for Senate website here:
Would it be cool to have them available? Chuck was one of the few Assemblymen to vote no on putting the propositions on the ballot for May. Of course he also voted against the tax increase budget deal.
Let me know what you think.
Does anyone know how to invite Alan Autry and Jerry Dyer?
Patriots, demonstrations are a good start. But they are just a start. Are so called representatives and those that control them need something a little more quantifiable. So how about raising their taxes (i.e. not paying ours) and every single one of us pulling our kids out of the corrupt indoctrination, excuse me I mean the education system in this country. A mass exodus of these two, surely would get a ball rolling.

That is what we really need to do. Make up an action list, bring it to the tea party, and set up a web page to coordinate the activity among like-minded people. You can set up a social network at ning.com.
Great! I am hoping we make a huge statement with the sheer numbers who show up. Thank you, Saundra and Scott, for all you do. JK will be photographing the event, so we will probably see you there.
We are grateful to web designers "Digital Attic" for donating their services in designing the website for the Central Valley Tea Party!
It is currently under construction, but Melissa says it should be available very soon, so keep checking the link. They are working feverishly to get this up and running so we will have one central location to ask questions, make suggestions, volunteer and participate on the forum. Yay!
Thank you all who are planning to attend and a big thank you to those who are volunteering to help with this event.
