McCain: People voted 'mostly for Sarah Palin' last year

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Former Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain has no illusions about the 2008 White House race.

"God bless them," McCain said Thursday at the Heritage Foundation when reminded of the tens of millions of people who voted for him last year.

"Over 50 million people voted for me and Sarah Palin - mostly for Sarah Palin," McCain said to an eruption of laughter. But "there was a sizable majority of the other party returned to Congress. And, elections have consequences. Elections have consequences. And these consequences we are seeing now in full display."

And this is the very moment that this election turned into McCains favor, and sent the media back on its heels. If only McCain would of stuck up for her when the media were given their orders to attack.

I think he said it to be funny, not because he realizes the reverberating truth contained therein. If Susan Collins or Olympia Snowe had been the running mate, he would’ve made the exact same comment.

Good for him. At least he admits it.

It was an attempt at humor.
McCain doesn’t realize how his “humor” was...

If Susan Collins or Olympia Snowe had been the running mate, he would’ve made the exact same comment.

And his vote total would have dropped at least 5%.

I’m going to give McCain his due here. He is acknowledging the truth.

John McCain was a political red herring, put there by the Council on Foreign Relations, (primaries and polls are manipulated), as the token opposition. John McCain is a prime CFR member, as are the Bushes.

Virtually every selected presidential candidate of the two party campaign, after Reagan, is a front for a colluding (conspiratorial?)cabal. Just like Julia Roberts is a front (pawn) for Hollywood producers.

This is obviously a fact for Barack Obama. He has no special talent or intelligence other than a prolific mouth, and black skin to cash in on white guilt.

But he is not the primary enemy, and it is a mistake to divert and single him out. Sites that act as such are totally naive. Things are much much more sinister. (sinistra = Left).

Witness illegal immigration and anthropogenic global warming. We are not dealing with dumb people here. They KNOW how to manipulate sheep.

He’s making the comment after the election. He’s making it for a cheap laugh. He *still* doesn’t appreciate that the only reason he got that many votes was because of her. As somebody else said, most of those that turned out and voted for the ticket wouldn’t have crossed the street to shake his hand.

It was his crack at self-deprecating humor, but he has no clue. Doesn’t now and never did. Palin wasted herself on him.

It would have been racist to win an election against a black man.
