The bill forbids prosletizing and engaging in any activity that promotes any religion. It does not prohibit church attendance.
It also prohibits any activity related to abortion, political campaigning, lobbying, etc.
It's a bad bill but let's be accurate and honest.
btw, iirc more republicans voted aye than democrats.

I may believe that the bill prohibits caounting church work as volunteer work but not that it prohibits attendance or proselytizing oor preaching.

The next sentence applies to being the teacher and being the taught...as in sitting/participating in a worship service or being up front and ministering in any way. Probably even includes singing.

It prohibits Mormon Missionaries from being Mormon Missionaries during their period of involuntary servitude.
Really doesn't sound progressive at all.
